Excellent laundry soap
Great laundry soap. Have been using it for 5 years and it gets clothes clean. I have allergies to a number of things and this laundry soap has been perfect for me.

Cringe-Level Obsessed
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’m embarrassingly obsessed with this stuff. Grandma’s Laundry Soap makes my clothes look and smell actually clean - not perfume-covered, just truly fresh. I’ve tried every detergent under the sun and nothing comes close. Finally found something that can handle a house full of messy kids. Never switching again.

Will never go back to regular laundry detergent
I started using the natural laundry soda/soap awhile back & am so glad I did! My clothes are clean smelling now without that almost sour smell they would get with regular laundry stuff from the grocery store. I had been using a coconut oil based product that I liked, but I wanted to try Grandma's out. Loving it!! Grandma's leaves my clothes clean, soft and doesn't irritate my skin at all. My allergies are much improved too. I think my clothes are cleaner with this, and they smell so naturally clean & fresh, that I cant stop burying my face in them for a sniff. I wash primarily on cold, and it rinses out just fine. Happy with this product! UPDATE: Using this laundry soap made my skin less itchy so I decided to try their natural Lye bath soap. Holy Cow! Who knew? No more itching at all now, and skin more moisturized. You might want to try this soap too. Glad I did :) I continue to use the laundry soap...absolutely luv it, and wont use anything else now.

If you have allergies, asthma or eczema -- your've got to try this!
True soap (made out of saponified natural fats and entirely free of all synthetic detergents) is the only true answer to those suffering from eczema, asthma and allergies. Synthetic detergents are a major causative factor for this triad of related conditions. After I read the solveeczema dot org site -- and rid my house of ALL synthetic detergents as well as the household dust laced with them (it took a couple of months to clear the house) -- my baby, who suffered from such terrible eczema that she was hospitalized at the Boston Children's Hospital, was miraculously rid of her terribly itchy, oozing, bumpy, swollen, red skin rash. The article about the close link between synthetic detergents, eczema, asthma, and allergies was published in the Asthma Today Medical Journal. Yet, no doctor will tell you to steer clear of syndets. Even at the Boston Children's Hospital -- not a mention! Fascinating info about the link is at solveeczema dot org and Sammysskin dot org. Plus (if you suffer from eczema, you may want to try a home-made ointment made out of bee propolis tincture, grapeseed oil and beeswax (this rids the skin of MRSA -- another major factor causing eczema.) No, not the toxic chlorine bleach baths as they recommend at the doctor's office (unless you are a fan of dousing your child in hundreds of toxic chemicals -- byproducts of chlorine disinfection) -- but the broad range antimicrobial bee propolis and the grapeseed oil rich in linoleic fatty acid (which strengthens the skin barrier function). Sorry, this of course, is no medical advice. This is merely the result of months of research, observation of my own baby, and our experience.

Dissolves easily
Seems to work well. The dermatologist suggested that we use this brand to try to alleviate skin rash that my husband is dealing with now. He says he has not noticed a difference. I do like that it dissolves better than the homemade detergent I was using.

Only dud of the brand
I had high hopes for this detergent. It didn't work on my cloth diapers they came out still stinky even after I tried more powder different temps of water etc. And before I knew it the laundry detergent was gone in about a month and a half. I wouldn't buy it again although the stain stick freebie was worth it- Grandma's lye soap stain bars are with the money. Got 4 year old blood stains, blue berry stains and red pasta sauce out like it was nothing!

Great product
This is a great product. I was very thankful to find it for a reasonable price and fast delivery. Considering you can't find it in the stores .

Don't buy it.
It does not dissolve well and it says it works in all temperatures. Wrong. If you have sensitive skin look elsewhere. My dermatologist recommended this brand. She made a big mistake.
