It works as expected.
Car: 2016 Honda Pilot Audio Connection: AUX Previously, I was using the HondaHack with CarLinkit on the integrated infotainment system in the Pilot. That setup was good as it used the build in screen and the volume and next track buttons on the steering wheel worked. BUT wired connectivity was hit or miss. It would only connect 25% of the time. So that is why I installed this after market screen. It works as expected and connects to my iPhone via wireless (there doesn't seem to be a wired option). It now connects 100% of the time. Two things to be aware of: (1) you may need to buy a feedback filter if using the AUX connection - otherwise you may hear a background hum. (2) If the last connected iPhone is within range (in the house while car is in the driveway), it will not allow you to connect another previously connected iPhone. You will need to drive off and be out of range to connect the other iphone (not sure if this is standard bluetooth behavior or not).

BEST THING EVER!
Best product ever! I was so skeptical about buying this product, but after installing it and getting familiarized with it I am pretty sold. Eveything is there screen mirroring, backup cam, carplay and android auto, and 10 band EQ for sound is there. Very easy to fit it into your cars interior to match Detachable screen, 2 options for mounting. The wires can be easily hidden. Old cars before 2016, not a problem if theres an Aux port, you're good. Even if there is only a tape deck installation is possible. So good!!

Very solid screen.
Awesome screen, works great in multiple vehicles and transferring is very easy. Backup camera is nice but unfortunately didn’t work for the vehicle I bought it for due to the vehicle build. Would recommend getting.

affordable carplay for your older vehicle
This is a good and affordable option for equipping your older model car with Carplay or Android Auto. I have an iPhone and I had zero issues setting this up and pairing it to my phone and my car. I was not able to make the FM radio connection work but I think I just needed to find a better channel to tune. I don't intend to use that connection method anyway so I didn't work at it very long. The bluetooth/WiFi connection worked smoothly. There were zero issues in setting it up, and it seems to have a sensitive touchscreen without any particular lag that I could see. There are several options for displaying information. I have not yet decided on how to mount it (windshield or dash). Other reviews complain about the adhesive not being very good, but I have not tried it yet. Thinking about using an alternative mechanical mount that doesn't require adhesive, but I have not locked that in yet. Overall, for the price I have no problems - it works as advertised and I expect to use it well. It comes with a backup camera, which I don't need but which I may try to adapt as a dashcam - not sure that will actually work. The supplied aux cable is 3.5 mm plug, and the connection in my vehicle is USB-C so I would need an adapter. The cable is not very long, but usually the connection is made near the radio so it should be long enough. But you can always get a longer one if you need to. It powers through a connection to what used to be a cigarette lighter but which is normally just a power plug now. One thing that was irksome was that the power cable is not detachable from the plug. I have a plug with two USB ports and I plan to use one to power the unit and the other to power the phone charger. But I will just have to supply an alternate cable with USB-A on one end and USB-C on the other. Otherwise I have no complaints, and I think for the price this is an easy and affordable way get Carplay or Android Auto into your older vehicle. NOTE: as others have pointed out the mounting system they supply with the product is an absolute disaster. The adhesive is weak. In particular, the dash mount hardware requires an absolutely flat surface on which to mount. Few dashes are actually flat and any curvature of the mounting surface will prevent the base from mounting well to the dash. I am searching for an alternative way to mount the unit.

Loving it, so far!
I've used it for about a week now...... I like it a lot..... Somehow it automatically starts when I start up my car. It keeps a list of places I've been, so I can choose one when I'm ready to go. Its got a larger screen, so that's a definite plus. It can stay in my car. I've bluetoothed it to my phone. I can use Maps or Waze. I think I can use whatever I can see on my phone.... I hv a few different navigation apps.... havn't tried them all yet. It takes about a minute to connect when I turn on my car. It doesn't seem to be using my phone but I know it does somehow. Probably for data service.... Right now, I'm happy! I've tried quite a few different ways to view GPS while driving [different car phone holders (they kept falling off or not being in a convenient spot), portable HUD displays (then hvng to find an app that displays navigation backwards..... could not use Waze or Maps 😫)]. This is using apps from my phone, showing them as it would on my phone! I'm still playing w/it cuz right now it uses the stereo speakers in the unit. It's okay for now but I think I want to see if I can use my car speakers instead.... As stated: I'm still playing w/it... But, so far, so good! 😃 Thanks, Capapro!
