The author is definitely getting more comfortable with the characters in this book. It's fun to watch the progression and continued growth of Axel Hatchett. Whenever I think I know what's going on, or what's going to happen, there's a twist and I'm surprised again! Looking forward to continuing this series.

Kept me guessing throughout the book. Thought I figured it out but as each turn in the story happened, changed my mind.Good book.

Excellent use of glass eyes, rattlesnakes -and red herrings!
This suburb sequel to Dead Man Limping has a perfectly plotted mystery, is hysterically funny, and is an overall great read.
