Chops and handles well, even with its considerable heft. The edge comes sharp and remains work sharp after use. The sheath is good too, holds the axe secure to the belt. The handle is made of good wood and satisfyingly ergonomically. Highly recommend it for practical work.

A great-looking camping axe that performs just as well as it looks. Sharp enough for firewood and nicely balanced. The handle is a bit smooth, but that’s easy to fix with added texture.

Made well. The high carbon steel is definitely hardened, but the blade is absolutely not as sharp as advertised. I spent an hour with bench grinding and hand sharpening with stone provided. Seems durable, but haven’t chopped with it yet. Balance is reasonable and weight is perfect.

It's quite sharp, and it even comes with its own sharpener. I like the convenience of carrying it on my belt. The quality is wonderful, and the wood is molded to provide a comfortable grip.

Its a beautiful hatchet. Makes me almost want to hang it on my wall instead of chop wood. But its a great set. Hatchet with the cover that can hook to your belt. And the sharpening stone makes it that extra bit better. My boyfriend loved it. Great birthday gift or for the camper/out door person. Looks beautiful but also durable. Good value.

Nice hatchet to have around the campsite. It comes with a nice leather belt sheath, and sharpening stone and 2 bushings for if you need to replace the handle at some point. Great for camping or when the zombies come 😁

Was a little hesitant because of the price, but wow, this thing is gorgeous. Handle is smooth and polished, with a nice shine to it. Solid weight, great balance—just holding it feels good. The leather sheath is also top-notch—great quality, well-made, and adds a premium touch. I got to split some firewood. Oh man, it’s really sharp! Slices through wood like butter, no struggle at all. Super satisfying to use. Can’t wait to take it camping this summer. Definitely a great buy!
