Hier gibts wenig zu sagen, wer Cramps überhaupt kennt, kennt auch die "Date with Elvis". Für mich die beste Scheibe, wobei die alle eng beisammen sind. :-DEtwas weniger Trash, ein wenig melodischer als manche anderen Platten. Manchem Crampsfan zu soft, ich finde es okay, wenn unerfahrene Mit-Hörer nicht erschreckt die Augenbrauen hochschnellen, wie z.B. bei "Love me" oder "The Crusher".Wer wenig Berührung bisher mit The Cramps hatte und manches zu schrill empfand, diese Scheibe ist etwas weniger verrückt, ohne langweilig zu sein, der underground steckt trotzdem in jeder Rille (hier digitalen Signalspur).

For some reason I just cannot warm up to this album; the songs seems to be uninspired to me and I dislike all the filthy sex jokes. Well maybe the Cramps is not a group for me, but I had a lot of fun with the Bad music for bad people CD.

このアルバムは、LP、CDとも所有していたのですがボーナストラックが4曲入っていたので注文しました。

I'm a Johnny come lately to The Cramps but this and Psychedelic Jungle are their top albums IMO and this one has slightly better production. Get both as a bare minimum. These 2 have nary a weak track while the rest of their albums tend to be mixed bags. Fun semi-raunchy but real foot stomper/butt wiggler music in a truly original style some say is punk/psychedelic/rockabilly. The "Horror" angle they have isn't really Goth; I would say as it's mostly for humor, not serious.

The orange vinyl is snazzy, and the album itself is great! The date opens with a dirty oscillating guitar chord, which turns into , How Far Can Too Far Go? A worthy question from Rock & Roll's acerbic first couple. Hot Pearl Snatch and What's Inside A Girl, are the standout songs here, but there's plenty of great stuff. If you like the Cramps take on rockabilly, you will approve.

Orange vinyl version sounds great and looks good! This is my favorite Cramps record and I like the sound better than the CD I have.

I'm a big fan.I had to buy this on CD as my vinyl copy was just to scrachy.Its a great album. If you love the Cramps you will already have it.If your undecided, you can be sure this is some of their finest work!D

Great band!! Stay sick!!!

If you do not know the Cramps, what this means is a lot of really fun songs about such topics as female anatomy, how people are terrible, and fried chicken. This campy, fun, kinky music is located somewhere near the crossroads between punk, blues, and psychobilly.

Great album....unfortunately slightly warped like most records sold by Amazon.

I don't care for everything they do, but this was their Sgt Pepper, Led Zeppelin IV or their Exiles On Main Street.
