Works great
I got my first lobe piercing like 2 months ago and when they did it they gave me a silver back and a gold front so I thought I should change it. The back looks good and feels good, the disk on the back is a bit smaller than the one I was given when I was pierced. I used an insertion tool and it went in really easily. The 6mm 18g fits my ear just right. The barrel is a bit smaller I think than the original, I had to bend the front a little straighter to make it fit less tight but I don't think it will fall out as it's still in quite tight.

Nose ring use and sizing
For a year, I couldn’t get rid of the stupid lump on a nose ring and tried all of the products. I ended up ordering one of these titanium rings in the gold color 8mm 20g and using it in my nose (purchased a threader separately). That did the trick. The ring finally healed. I loved the flat back. It was easy to clean and didn’t get in the way of anything going on in the inside of my nose. But, the rod on that one was a bit too long and extended through my nose, touching the other side. So, I came back and ordered JUST the rod part in 20g 6mm and the size is perfect for my nose. Happy with this purchase for this use. I can also see why this would be great for ears, including for children, or for other stuff type piercings.

No reaction and lasts long
This did not disappoint! I originally got this for my Monroe piercing because it was time to change into a shorter bar. It’s not too close to my lip but it’s not too close to my gums/teeth either. It’s a comfortable size where you can still take it out/clean it and put it back in with no difficulties.Im also allergic to things with nickel/gold and this didn’t give me a reaction at all which is a good sign for those with an allergy or sensitive skin.

Exactly what I needed. Zero irritation
I had some partially closed ear piercings that I wanted to re-pierce and start wearing again. I do not recommend doing it yourself, but it’s what I did. The first studs I put in claimed to be 316L steel (which I normally tolerate,) but my ears got super inflamed and painful after 4 days. I was in a panic. I switched to some real 316L hoops that I already had, and they started to get a little better, but it was slow (and hoops aren’t good for fresh piercings.)I’m so glad I ordered these implant grade titanium studs. My piercings have healed up so nicely and gone back to normal after just a few days of having them in. The higher quality, the better for healing! I am still cleaning regularly (sterile gauze pads and saline spray,) but can dial it back to once a day. I have no more irritation, swelling, redness, discharge, discomfort or anything. If I had to do it all again, I would go straight for these earrings. They are high quality and exactly what I needed for a very small price! If you have old piercings that are just a little closed and insist on doing it yourself (again not recommended!) please be safe and sterilize everything, and make sure you get certified implant grade jewelry like this. The push-pin style with a tiny diamond is great too, as it has produced virtually no irritation from getting knocked around. Once they are fully healed I will try other jewelry, but for now letting them heal is the most important thing.

Review update⭐️
If you are looking for thread-less jewelry look the other direction. I have ordered from this company before, and the stud I received was great. Ohhhhh but this time. Let’s just start off by saying I was missing a whole stud. The quality of them were horrible I wasscared to insert them.Update⭐️- I send my rings back and tried my luck again. This time both stones were included in my package(happy dance), and the studs looked perfect. I have an extremely thick nose so the stud were a tab but short, but they did fit. It took me about 20 mins to insert using the needle method and it was in snuggle. There is little to no movement as I was with my L ring, and I’m hoping my bump will go away soon. If my bump goes away I will attach a before and after picture.

Perfect for irritated ears
I have had 12 piercings in my ears, only 1 of which completely closed and had to be repierced (a cartilage piercing that was done with a gun at Claire’s when I was in middle school- I couldn’t handle sleeping on it, so I let it close and then went to a professional piercer and had it reprieved close by).I used to buy gold and surgical stainless steel earrings because it thought those would be the least irritating to my ears. For about 20 years, I had no issues, even leaving them in overnight. However, after removing them for an MRI a few years ago, I forgot to put them back in right away because I couldn’t find the balls for some of the hoops etc… and then ears decided to start acting up. They got inflamed and itchy within 20 minutes of putting in any earring. So I would wear them for a few days and then removed them, sometimes for a few weeks, but I developed bumps on my scalp where the back of the earrings hit my skull. They became more and more irritated to the point that I just took my earrings out for a while. Again, a few months later, I tried to wear them and my skin just said No!So I looked around for flat backs and different metals…Fast forward to a year later and I just found out there are titanium flat backs. Woohoo! Working in the medical field I know that titanium is for implants, so I figured maybe that’s been my issue all along. Perhaps I developed a mild allergy to due to an element in the metal alloys of the jewelry I wore before. Even if that element is nickel, it is bonded so well in titanium alloy that it usually doesn’t cause a reaction.Well, I put these titanium 20G 2.5mm studs in my ears (6mm post length) about an hour ago and thus far no issues! I had to push them through a little bit of tissue, and even with that - although they are red- there is no itching. The earrings are beautiful.I also truly appreciate that this store sends you two extra posts of a different length (6 and 8mm in mine), so you can put the earrings in different parts of your ear which have varying widths of tissue.Additionally, mine came with the studs slightly pre-bent so they stay in the post better. Even so, I bent them a bit more to make it even tighter.I’ll post more pictures another time, and update if I have any issues. The earrings arrived in a little back box, stuck in a velvet sponge. There is a small instruction sheet which explains that you need to bend the stud once it’s halfway into the post in order the tighten the fit- since these are threadless. THAT IS HOW THEY STAY IN!!!! Lol- I’ve read reviews other people wrote saying they don’t stay in, and I’m sure those people didn’t read the instructions…Forgive my ear pics- my ears are red because I pushed these through some tissue- regardless, they feel great!!!I’m wearing the 6mm length posts.
