First things first, they DO run on American Blueray players. I had no issue loading up any of these films. They look amazing. The only real issue with the set is that for some reason on the older films the dialogue volume is really really low. I normally have to turn it up pretty high to catch what they are saying. This has the drawback of me jumping out of my skin when something explodes. I wish the dialogue volume was just a bit higher. The only other complaint that I have is this boxed set stacks discs a bit strangely. There's 1 disc on top and one below and while the discs on top stay put the ones on the bottom frequently come loose and fall out. They aren't broken or anything like that, they just don't do a very good job holding the discs. Aside from that, this boxed set is great. It's a good buy if you want to watch the films in HD without breaking the bank or having the issues that the UHD version has. You can't go wrong. Review: High Quality as Advertized - These are everything I was looking for. They are the remastered versions of the first three.

Remastered very nicely. . I was a kid when i saw the original. It was fun revisiting the younger years.
