Great cat toys!Description:We were looking for high quality and interactive cat toys for our cat Misty. All the other toys we tried either were cheaply made or she showed little or no interest in them, opting instead to just be an old lazy cat!. I have 5 cats in the house. 4 have access to the toy. 2 of them absolutely love it and play with it together despite not liking each other. They loved it so much, it took them 2 whole days to rip the mouse off. In their defense, it wasn't attached very well and when I first got it, I thought it wasn't attached at all. One of the other cats found the mouse and it is his new favorite toy. They are still playing with it despite not having the mouse so that is why it gets a 4 star. I wanted to do a 1 or 2 star originally since it broke so fast but I can disassemble it quite easily and attach something better later and in the mean time, my cats are still playing with it.

I found this to be a very well made cat toy. I was looking for something that would work well in a carpeted home and this was just perfect. So, I have a boring cat that would rather look at toys rather than play with them (making you do the work of moving them while she watches). I got tired of her watching the laser and watching the feather on a pole, so I got this in the hopes that she would see that if she pushed the mouse it would move and she could chase it to the other side. Nope. She did it a couple of times and then decided it was too much work. So...great toy. Horrible cat.

But if you have a cat that is perhaps 'too smart' may not offer as much play time as I had hoped. My newly adopted rescue kitty played for about 10 minutes, trying to get the mouse OUT of the contraption and when she figured out it wasn't coming out, she walked away and never went back haha.:) SO because I thought it was a great toy, I donated it to a local cat rescue group and I figure there will be other kitties who find it very entertaining.:) I was also very touched that the order included 2 free little mouse toys which Sukanya (my kitty) adores!! She carries them around like they are her 'prey'. Also love that this cool company gives back to those receiving pet therapy sessions. Thank you so much.

LASTED 2 DAYS! Two kittens, two days, and no mouse. Mouse came off and had to find it and reglue it back on. So, you lose 3 stars for that. I'd expect that for a toy from the dollar store or a $5 toy, but not for this price. Also, we had a similar toy in the past only orange that lasted longer than our "Bubba" sadly. However, the mouse squeaked as if went around (still no batteries required) and it lasted longer. Great concept, but poorly made.

From the minute I got this out of the box, my cat was obsessed. She usually gets bored with toys after a few seconds or minutes. But she has been playing with this non-stop for two days. She hasn't tried to get the mouse out. She just loves batting it around the circle. It's also intellectually stimulating because when she paws the mouse, she has to walk around the toy to find out where it went, and it seems to help with her hunting instinct. So happy she's happy!

I purchased this for my daughter's 7 month old male cat who has LOTS of energy!! I keep joking that he needs some kind of obstacle course! I recalled an automated mouse / scratch pad device at the shelter where I adopted my cat so thought this would be worth a try. I didn't read the description thoroughly so was a bit disappointed that it wasn't automated but thought, let's give it a try! My daughter took it home and sent me a video of her cat playing with it stating that HE LOVES IT! So, hopefully, it will give her other cat some peace and tire the little guy out!

For the price, this is a decent toy. My cat will pounce from 2 feet up to land on it, and it still holds up. (However, he's only a 4lb kitten.) He'll play with it for a minute, get distracted by something else, and the come back. I think if it had sound or two spinning mice his attention would be captured for a longer amount of time. He is easily able to tip the toy upside down, so I put it in a place that will help prevent this. Overall, nicely constructed toy that my cat will play with occasionally.
