Ghost Peppers - Oven Dried 2 Oz.

This is a perfect pepper. Lightly toast them on a skillet and a heavenly sweet aroma arises. I used three of these Ghosts with one medium-sized Ancho, one Guajillo, one Pasilla and fifteen Arbol to create the best chili powder I've made so far. The heat was excellent (two of my friends ate one each right out of the bag (they are slightly crazy, these friends) and reported a nice front-end zing with a savory, lingering back-end) and mixed well with these other peppers. Remember: these are 1,000,000 Scovilles, this is a serious pepper - no handling and then picking your nose! This is a great deal: the bag is stuffed with at least 80-100 peppers.

While others are charging the same for 10 peppers these folks give you a full 2oz. I think my first bag lasted a year. I really appreciate that they aren’t trying to take advantage of their customer base by pricing each pepper individually, who does that?Great product, plenty hot, can rehydrate in hot water. Super buen sabor muy picante pero ideal lara salsas

CAUTION: USE HAND PROTECTION AND A RESPIRATOR.I make salsa with these peppers and it is a great spice level. Always wear protective gear when handling these especially if you are re-hydrating them. I went and bought a 3M Large Paint Project Respirator Mask (~$30-40), as the first time I re-hydrated the peppers without a respirator the fumes caused a pretty bad reaction.Heat is great, flavor is solid, and amount of peppers in 2oz is enough for quite a few batches of salsa.

Great spicey flavor, some pods have spider webbing on them, but you get so many pods you can just toss them out and keep going for the price!

Excellent sweet flavor, then the heat starts. Nice big bag. Nice xtra xtra hot full mouth heat, good for a little sweat too.I'm very happy with the quality. Keep it up Sonornan.

Ordered these with the scorpion peppers. I used them in some pepper relish and they worked great to give it the kick I was looking for.

I love that these are not smoked! I have used a few to makes some hot sauces and two batches of chili. Very versatile peppers. If you want you could crush them easily and sprinkle at dash over food. Great stuff.
