Like a new machine.
These quite effective, but heavy and clumsy 4874 machines from Eureka, burn through belts like Trump burned through cabinet members. They have a clutch system that allows the brush to idle when using the hose or vacuuming bare floors. These aftermarket belts seem much better than factory belts, and the machine works like new. At the price, it will not be too painful to replace the belt every few months if necessary. We shall see. So far, so good.
