Super little gadget that I`m surprised hadn`t been made available a LONG time ago.I got this size for a specific cooling purpose, as it turns out it wasn`t needed but kept the fan anyway as it can be usd anywhere and for any reason.So useful - just plug it into any USB port or adapter and place wherever you need it.The rubber "all round" feet prevent vibration and movement, it can be used in any orientation and has 3 speeds + OFF altogether.Permanent or temporary placement - if you need something cooling, this is a very useful item to have.It`s reasonably quiet as well even on full - on low almost silent - at which I was a little surprised especially for the smaller 8cm size which can be a bit noisy.Cool a TV box, or portable hard drive, inside a PC for extra spot cooling, circulate the air in a cabinet....you could even cool a hot pie off straight out of the oven if you wanted ! :)

I purchased this item to use with a WD 8TB My Cloud EX2 Personal Cloud Storage NAS with WD RED inside NAS drive as I was worried about the temperature readouts even whilst idle. On the medium setting it has reduced the temperature of the two drives inside by an impressive 20 degrees. At this level the fan is just about audible but the noise is low and, importantly, not annoying in any way as many fans are prone to be. The fan is suitably powered using just one of the USB ports from the back of the unit.The fan arrived well packaged, appears to be extremely professionally manufactured and initial impressions suggest it offers great value at the price I paid.Will update in the future if anything changes.

I was actually a bit surprised by the quality of the item when I received it. I hadn't been expecting much since stuff like this is usually cheaply made but this is actually nice. The blade guards are metal, as is the central logo on each side. The rubber feet look like they will last and even act a but as suction cups on a flat surface. The lowest speed is more or less silent and the high speed is still fairly quiet. The thing even comes with a user manual. I'll also add that the controller stays relatively cool and the cable is nice and long.There is a USB extension for daisy chaining additional fans. It comes after the speed controller so those fans don't necessarily need a controller and, if they do have one, it won't be very useful.The blade guards and feet are removable, as one would expect.

I needed this to cool a cabinet which it does very well.. it's not totally silent - it's definitely audible even on low and I would have preferred a more linear control that let me go a bit slower. It's not unpleasant.. it's well designed.. just a minor niggle.It comes with 8 rubber feet that I couldn't see the use of (they're no use when the fan is attached to anything.. the screws aren't long enough to leave them on).

This is used in a camper van to assist in the extraction of heat and circulation of air around the pump as the internal fan has failed.It’s quiet enough to have running at night without impacting on sleep and is so much better than the original fan.Very well made and solid unit.

Nice to have three-speed options as the weather warms up I can adjust accordingly.Low and medium settings very quiet with high still acceptable. Nicely packaged and with a two-year warranty good value for a tenner. Get the feeling it might be working still in 10 years time ( let you know )

What a marvelous little fan. I use it under my 10gbe adapter which gets too hot to touch, and it keeps it completely cool on just the low setting.It is silent and very well made.You can't go wrong for a tenner.I'll be getting a few more of these in various sizes.

Bought this for my crummy overheating BT Youview UltraHD box - made a big difference to our viewing. The boxes overheat because they're poorly designed and manufactured, causing glitching and pixellating on a grand scale. This fan plugged in to one of the Youview USB ports and runs continuously. Even in the dead of night you can barely hear the fan at close quarters, and even that sound is easily drowned out by the farting mice. We now only suffer glitches due to the crummy service.

Bluethooth pouvait causer des problèmes et le streaming pouvait aussi se faire de façon saccadé (surtout en HD ou 4K).J'ai finalement determiné la cause de ces bobos 😔Mon boitier qui est très petit (comme la majorité des TvBox) surchauffait (72 à 75 deg. Celcius)... L'electronique, à cette température, montre des signes de faiblesse et peut même avoir des pannes pour certaines composantes (dont le CPU).Les TvBox ne sont pas équipées de ventilateurs et la dissipation de la chaleur pose donc problème (surtout si la TvBox est confinées dans un endroit avec peu de circulation d'air)...Ce ventilateur (posée sous la TvBox) a fait chuter la température sous 40 deg. Celcius)...On devinera facilement que les bénéfices sont majeurs du point de vue du fonctionnement de la TvBox..Je recommande à ceux qui ont des boitiers (Tv, modem, routeur WiFi) qui chauffent trop, d'utiliser ce genre de ventilateurs (il en ont de differentes tailles et puissances).

È la seconsa ventola che compro di questa marca e mi piace tantissimo. Le ho collegate ad una centralina sempre Infinity che mi tiene sotto controllo le temperature di un mobile costruito artigianalmente su cui ripongo le mie console xbox.Prima di questa ventola, posizionata direttamenre dietro il dissipatore della Xbox One X le temperature si aggiravano attorno ai 40° all'interno del mobile. Ora sono scese a 22°.La ventola butta fuori aria calda ed un'altra gemella posta sull'altro lato ne fa entrare altra fresca.È davvero un prodotto eccellente. Silenzioso ed affidabile. Completamente controllabile dalla centralina e con possibilità di inserirvi altre ventole "a cascata" fino ad un massimo di 6 per centralina.Ne comprerò altre.

Excellent build quality. Silent. At a premium, but worth it.
