The inside lock switch doesn't lock

I was dreading the idea of replacing an old, worn-out doorknob on a 45-year-old door, but installing this was really easy. I'm not much of a DIY-er, but I'd hoped that I'd get lucky and the new hardware would fit perfectly as a replacement. It turned out that it did, and after about 10 minutes we have a shiny, new, smooth-operating doorknob! Very reasonably priced and highly recommended!

Lock is nice and matches my door perfectly. Arrived much quicker than estimated! This is only ONE lock in the package instead of 2. Wanted to call that out, as photo is misleading, so I gave it 4 stars. Other than that, it is 5 stars. Great price even for 1. :)

The door knob, if locked or unlocked, if you touch or hold it, it feels like its broken. The lock feels clumsy, I am not sure how long it last, they should make it to feel solid . Do not buy it!!

It is a very basic doorknob with lock, but does what it needs to. Don't even try to re-key these to match other locks as they seem made to be used and tossed after a few years. I anticipate that the knob will last about 3-5 years of moderate use before needing to be replaced, but some of the loose internal components may cause some malfunctions before then. It does work with Kwikset keys, so you could use the keys here (uncoded keys, however) to re-key other locks, but again, don't expect you can re-key this set.

Quality product. Easy to install. Works fine.

Instructions were not helpful but I managed. Really good product.
