These are a simple way to make a wire to wire connection. The old style wire nuts are fine but you probably know you have to find the right size and have to make sure the wires are twisted properly to get a good connection. With the Wago, it works for multiple size wires and it's easy to test If your wires are firmly connected. These things truly make the traditional wire nut obsolete. And I hate that as I had boxes of wire nuts! I have found these work very well in doing retro or replacement in old boxes. Quick, easy. Before you buy, watch a few U-Tube videos demonstrating this product. One video I watched did a "pull test" on one of these and the wires held up to 23 pounds of weight before failure! More pricey than traditional, individual wire nuts But these clearly have their applications and I plan on keeping a few around. The ones for the multiple wire connections are the "Cat's Meow!"

Lever nuts were new to me and solved the short junction box wire problems I've had with the old wiring in our cabin. The inline splice is secure, making very wire splice, taking less room than the traditional wire nut.
