H2D VI Professional Ionic and Infrared Wide Hair Straighteners

Really, really impressed by these straighteners. I've been using GHD's for a few years but always on the lookout for the "next advancement" in straighteners. I have long curly hair, and lots of it - that goes extremely frizzly when left to dry naturally. With just a hairdryer, I can do a pretty good imitation of sideshow Bob, so anything that can help is a godsend.The infrared heating (fully adjustable) on these is brilliant, it heats fast and with the coated plates, these literally glide though my hair. It does take more than pone pass, but sure that's down to my hair - a person with normal hair am sure could use only one pass through. Left my hair soft and shiny and - yay! straight. The controls are easy to use (on/off and up down buttons for temp control) and they have a digital temperature readout so you know when they're ready to use. I expect you could also see on this when to leave them a second to regain heat, although on my first use I did not notice any drop in the temp throughout so no waiting needed! I would definitely recommend this product, especially to those with curly / frizzy hair. My new favourite - hands down! Thank you H2D

Absolutely fantastic!!! After always being an avid GHD user, I decided to have a change as recently I felt my hair wasn't in the best condition (the ends of my hair seemed particularly dried out with my GHDs). The GHD's seemed to 'pull' on my hair (I have red, very course below shoulder length hair) leaving it dry and frazzled looking.What a difference these straighteners make!! It takes me half the time to straighten my hair, they literally just glide through with no pulling. I love that I can adjust the temperature too. The plates are the same width as GHD but appear longer. The plug seems a great idea for travelling (you flip open the lid and inside the straighteners are already adapted for two pin continental use) the flip lid seems a bit flimsy and doesn't snap close, but this doesn't really impact on the quality too much. The cable length equals that of GHD and the only thing missing is the heat protector head cover when you have finished straightening.Overall my hair is left glossy looking and soft to touch, something I thought you had to sacrifice when you straightened your hair.I'm so impressed I've ordered a pair for my daughter. GHD will have to radically rethink their straighteners to get me back as a customer. If like me you are not happy with your hair or your GHDs in general then you need look no further than these great straighteners!! Take the plunge, you won't regret it.

I have 3c hair and usually I have to deal with a fair bit of volume even when it's been straitened. When I used this whith Chai heat infusion/protection, it was straight. I didn't even have to go over it (other than roots) for a week. I was very impressed

Best hair straightners i've used in 20 years. Having been a GHD person, i purchased these after reading reviews about these.I have very thick wavy frizzy asian hair. These straightners are quick to use and my hair stays in shape with only touch ups between washes. They glide through my hair! I recently had my long hair cut into a bob and people often say I look like i've just been to the hair dressers! My hair looks shiny and straight! It wouldnt look so good without these! In my opinion the Infra red means they are less damaging to hair. My friend has since purchased these and my sisters are going to buy some too!!

Excellent straighteners. I have really thick hair which they cope well with. Wouldn't buy any other make. Great value for the money.

Best straighteners I've ever owned. I have really thick long hair & it is my pet hate job straightening it, but not any more. My hair has a natural wave, but it is four days since I straightened it, & even after rain, no kinks just straight hair. Thank you H2D. Have owned GHD's these put them in the shade.

I had the old version of these straighteners and they worked great for years. So I ordered this new version and it was fine for a couple of months but now the temperature control keeps switching off. Which can get very annoying when your in the middle of using it on your hair. Not well made at all!

Works great, but the cord has a mind of its own, its very stiff and constantly twists up, now impossible to straighten. Would never buy another one.
