the baller spoon necks bend rather easily. I used them to ball out the core of a halved ripe Fuji apple, and the neck bent. one neck was not pushed into the handle, soit pulls out easily. feels cheaply made. the edgeof the cups are blunt not sharp like my moms 30 year old antique melon baller. hard to use because ofthe blunt edges.

I like the size of these. I use them for fruit and for dropping cookie dough (finally I can get cookies in a regular volume). Just in case you are in doubt - there are two of the same size so you can have someone help. They can be put in the dishwasher. I also like the long handle since it makes them easier to use.
