High Tech MS-5 Fastener (MS-5 for 1.5 Inch Collar) Black

I have three dogs that utilize the power door and they go through transponders quickly as they play rough. This solves the problem of the back of unit breaking and rendering it useless. I normally would zip tie the transponder on their collars and would also have to run one around the front so we wouldn’t have to hunt it down later in the yard, hoping that it was located before it was chewed up. This solves both issues with attaching securely, but also allowing it to slide on the collar and move around as needed. It has cured the issue of a dog not being able to open the door because of a bad location from being spun on their necks.

I wanted to love this. Arrived this morning and we immediately put it on one of our dog’s collar. It was easy to install. Unfortunately, it was not tough enough for intense dog play. The other dog was able to pull it off the dog collar and destroy the ms5 transmitter.

My dog lost the battery/part that opens her dog door on a walk one day. This fastener has been extremely helpful to make sure that doesn't happen again to her new replacement. Hopefully it will save us from having to keep buying a new one, so it is a good investment to save us money in the long run. I would recommend anyone buying the Hitech dog door that requires the collar just buy this anyway, or maybe the company should combine this with the collar instead of selling separately.It does seem a little big and clunky, but my dog doesn't seem to mind it.

Broke after 1 week of use. Great concept, but clip needs to be more sturdy. The case which holds the transmitter is strong and even getting it inside the housing is tough. The clip needs a locking mechanism

Very upset that I just put this on yesterday and the way the puppies play it’s already destroyed and the receiver came out so I had to go track that down. I got it due to other reviews saying they held up with rough play and that’s NOT true. Very disappointed because I thought I had found something to combine collars. Now I’ve got to find a new color to put the receiver back on today that holds up better than the ones they come on.

I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews but after receiving the package and getting it on my dog I am thrilled to have found this product. My dog is a beast and so far no complaints about how the product has held up.
