Bismark 350 scale by Acadamy
The kit is large, and the detail for the price is amazing, some very minor scraping here and there but the detail, right down to the port holes in the bow. I rated this very high especially due to the price, even though it is not a toy if used properly "Displayed" in cover (Glass) should last for ever. Tamiya has some very good kits, this rivals the kits I have put together in the past. That is a lot of kits over the years. I will be looking for more Acadamy kits in the future.

Good toy
Not easy to assemble, especially thin details, but good model/toy.

High detail and great packaging
This kit from Academy is not to be underestimated. I was reluctant at first before buying this but I'm glad I did now. The box inside and out is a wonderful treat to look at. As for all the plastic components inside they are crisp and have a good degree of detail. A little flash of extra plastic here and there but no big deal. Good preparation, a nice set of PE from Gold Medal Models and top it off with an ultra realistic KA wood deck and this Bismarck will come alive!

Good, but some issues.
A great looking product and fun to put together. However, I was missing two "G" templates(for lack of a better term) and as such will be missing pieces such as AA guns and life boats. Small, but extremely frustrating. If that's not bad, there's a slip of paper that says "Make sure you have all the pieces before opening their packaging, you may not be able to return the product afterwards," Well, how am I supposed to know I have everything I need without opening it? Sure I could just count the number of templates, but I would much rather just have the missing parts be sent to me than to return an, otherwise, perfect product.

Very nice model
I found that this was a great model to build. Slightly challenging which I enjoyed. Waiting for things to dry, that's what takes the most time. Pieces fit together nicely for the most part. There are a couple areas that were too snug and needed some love to fit together. Probably not a good beginner model, definitely worth the money.

Academy Bismarck Model Kit
This is a really nice model on the finished side, but it does have a lot of small pieces. If you don;t mind painting little pieces and have the patience, this model is really nice. The only down side for this model is that it does not have any markings/indicators that I could see for painting the wide stripes on the sides or top. I didn't bother since I was not that ambitious to try and it still looks great.

Low quality replica
This is a poor quality replica of tamiya 1/350 bismarck. Parts are poorly manufactured and inaccurate; descriptions are unclear and in crazy order; detail? There is no detail in this model kit... don't buy

but not great. Trumpeter kits are far superior
This kit is okay, but not great. Trumpeter kits are far superior. The forward deck on my kit was warped, so final fit is not good. There was a lot of flash, and pin marks difficult to remove. This will be my one and only Academy 1/350 kit. In the future, I will spend the little extra on Tamiya or Trumpeter.

It's a great model. Although not the quality of Tamiya, parts fits well. And for the price of $60 for a 1/350 scale model, it's a good deal.
