The comfort and being able to wear it while wearing a helmet

I bought this as an alternative to a respirator mask for epoxy resin. I use a less toxic resin with less fumes so I don't know if this could be used with a stronger resin. After wearing this mask through a few sessions, it seems to be working quite well. Actual mask is very soft, comfortable, and my glasses didn't fog up. Took me a couple minutes to add the filter since the black valves are not attached to the actual mask, but after you figure it out it's easy to do. I can image this mask would be great outdoors and while cleaning out a very dusty basement or storage room. Recommended!

All of the ones I'm seeing for sale are the same design, and it's just a really poorly designed product from the start. The primary gel filter isn't attached to the mask, and so it's got a fairly large space where unfiltered air is sucked in when breathing normally. I guess the idea was for it to act as a valve to pull air through the filter on inhale but open up on exhale to allow the out breath to escape easily. But the valve doesn't seal with normal breathing. You would need to be breathing very heavily to actually suck the gel circles enough to make a seal.Also, the whole thing doesn't really seal much around the face, and making the straps tighter just makes it all pull the straps off the ears. (I ended up having to tie a rubber band around the back of my head to keep it all on and somewhat tight.)So, yeah, it's totally not worth it. You'd be better off just using a scarf, given the ineffective filter on this one.

One of the screw-off areas where I had to attach the filter did not move or screw off at all. I had to stretch the filter to fit onto that area. The mask helped to a small degree but not as I expected or needed. It was not comfortable to wear.

I do like the color and shape of the mask the vents are a little cumbersome to put together not sure I’ll buy replacement filter

We have had disastrous air for the past month from the fires in the Santa Cruz mountains ; first starting with falling ash and fire debris. By the time this mask arrived the air was still bad but I couldn’t smell the smoke but with all the fires on the West coast up to Washington state the smoke is choking and some days the air quality is the worst in the world. Today, in spite of the smoke, I put on the mask and walked by the ocean. Before putting on the mask I could smell the smoke but with the mask the air felt clean although you could see the horizon was grey from the smoke. It also did not get hot and it felt that it was adequate air. Definitely better for my asthma.

I bought this mask prior to the pandemic to use because I have asthma and certain things can make it act up. I am pleased with my purchase. It is very comfortable and fits well with no gaps. It even has nose guard that helps you form it to your nose. I also love the material which is very soft. I would definitely recommend however not sure if it qualifies as an N95 mask so if you are buying for that I would do more research on it. It does come with filters just not sure on the rating of them.

Nice product that fits my face well but the I don’t quite like how the material is weighted down by the valves - they sit against my mouth even when the filter is in. I am hoping to be able to run with this mask on. Feels like it’s a breathable mask for running - it fits really nice no gaps. Only issue is how the valves touch my mouth.
