I have two cats who are both over 10 years old, and they’ve done exceptionally well on Purina Pro Plan soft cat food. They love the taste, it’s easy for them to eat, and it keeps them active and healthy. I also feed them the Pro Plan dry food, and the combination has worked great for their age and digestion. While I haven't tasted it personally, my cat absolutely loves this. I used to get her the pate, but she prefers the shreds. She's an older lady with arthritis in her left knee and only half her teeth, but she still oms and noms on this. She prefers this over other brands that are more like junk food for cats. If you asked my cat, she'd say the smell and taste make her go crazy. I believe this is high quality food, as I notice fewer and less stinky poops when my cat eats this food, so I'll keep getting it for her. Until, you know, she inevitably decides all at once that she hates everything about it.

This food was prescribed by our vet and while it was well tolerated by our older cat. It is quite expensive, so we didn’t continue using it. He liked it. Maybe if the cans were a little larger we could justify the cost. But we had to find another food that was more affordable.

My vet tech friend recommended the pro plan for my cats, as one of them throws up a lot, and this is a game-changer. The vomiting has decreased because the patte is so much easier for her to digest, and she does not eat as fast. For my greedy boys, it's more food because it's more solid, and they don't get hungry as quickly. I take a tablespoon of filtered water and mix it in so they are getting extra hydration, but 10/10 for their health.

My cats like them, but the package came all broken like lost 4 cans because of the demage from delivering.

As Mr. Kitty got older, I thought periodic puking and loose stools were part of the aging process. I had him on a different expensive premium food, tried a couple other expensive foods and this did the trick.

The cats luv this grain free food. It is the only wet food they will eat. This box was a good value.
