Quality unit made from thick plastic. Does exactly as it says. All you do is fill water to the fill line and fill the rest with gas to get your reading. Does not leak. Have used twice so far and will definitely be using it again and again.

Like others have written, fuel will splatter onto your hand and counter top when shaking the mixture. I added a rubber O-ring, size R-13 (inner diameter 3/4", outer diameter 15/16") which fixes that problem. The bottle holds approximately 2/3 of a cup of liquid, total. The directions are simple and printed on the outside of the bottle. The line gradations on the other side of the bottle. I found my local Mobil station's 93 octane has 8% ethanol. One supervisor there claimed their gas had none, and on a different day somebody told me 10%. Now I know. I'll be testing their 87 octane next time, and will do the same at my local QT for both types.

Makes it easy to test and get an accurate ethanol percentage when mixing different blends. Works well, just wish the cap opening was a little larger to pour into. Still a solid and reliable tester.

Fill to water line, add fuel to fill line. Shake, let rest a few minutes. Separates out and let's you know the amount of ethanol in your fuel. If you interested in that. Works great

Thanks to Amazon I got my money back otherwise it would have been £25 down the drain. Some Einstein at their warehouse decided to put an adhesive product sticker right over the read off label which itself is a VERY poorly adhered sticker onto what is a VERY poor quality plastic bottle. Seriously You are better off just getting a 100ml glass measuring cylinder, the type used in school chemistry labs, and using one of those. I reported this to the seller and whilst they apologised there was no offer of a replacement or refund so once again thanks Amazon.

Seems expensive for what it is..I’m quite sure you could make one of these yourself but it would be necessary to have a good quality bottle and a way to calculate the ratio and get it marked on the bottle: Short version is this works well , fast and accurate. I’m amazed at the difference in premium gasoline and regular!!
