This is such a fun resource for introducing the human body. My grandkids have had a blast with this. We have them take turns picking a card and then we read and discuss. We laughed until we cried, but we’ve also had some amazing conversation surrounding the human body.I was a bit nervous about the packaging when it first arrived. It just seemed a bit flimsy and like it would get ruined pretty quickly, but that’s hasn’t been the case at all. The kids have been fairly careful with it, especially the oldest (7). The packaging has definitely been one of the appeals for the kids and it make sense once you set it up and start playing.The cards are great and full of wonderful facts about the human body. Topics like why teeth fall out, why we sweat, what are specific body parts and it is covered in such a fun and easy to understand way.I would absolutely recommend this set!

This is an incredible learning kit. It's got great colors and the learning is clear and consistent. It is a fantastic way to get kids interested in science. I got it for fun for our family, but I think it could be used possibly as a tool for homeschooling too.

This is a fun learning project for the kiddos. They really look forward to these types of projects where you can use your hands and also have fun. recommend!

I like having factual cards or conversation cards on my kitchen table. When the grandkids are spending time with me while I’m working in the kitchen, we can sneak in some learning. I bought this set specifically for that.The cards are a neat size. They feel like they have a coating on them to preserve them. They come in this really neat wheel type box that opens. The problem is they spill out really easily. I’m not a fan of this storage method for long term. It’s not a cheap set and a better storage option would have been much appreciated.The cards are educational and enjoyable to talk thru/quiz with my grandkids. They are well thought out, precise and age appropriate.Overall I do like them but have since put them in a ziplock bag just to keep them together better.

I wasn't expecting to have so much fun with this! I got this for my youngest daughter as she loves learning new things, especially things about the human body. I was really surprised at how informative and fun these cards were. I love how things are broken down into "How, What, and Why." This comes at just the time in my daughters life where's she's asking about things that will always begin with one of those words.The cards are kept in a hexagonal box, which if you're not careful with when opening or closing will cause your cards to spill all over the place. The only other issue I have is the card about there being different areas of our tongue that are strictly for tasting different things (sweet, salty, sour, etc.). This was something I grew up being taught as fact and, like most kids, went to try out myself and immediately found it to be incorrect. Of course, this has been disproved. The taste buds on our tongue can all taste anything and while certain "regions" are a bit more sensitive to particular tastes, that bit of sensitivity isn't enough to really make a difference.I think this is well worth it for any age (much like the ages 7-99 it says on the box). It even taught my older daughter some things she was embarrassed she didn't know!

I’m a huge fan of skillmatics games, but this one didn’t make the cut for me. The packaging is not easy or convenient to open. You need a large, flat surface to set it on and even still the cards roll out (they’re circles) since they’re stored in the triangle slots. Definitely not worth the price for what you get. I will be returning.

This is one of the best activity sets for primary grade kids! The knowledge bytes on the cards are truly insightful even for adults abs colourful presentation attractive for kids! I bought it for a boy who isn't much into reading but this has got him hooked 😀😀 thanks Skillmatic for making such a wonderful activity box!

Can reuse maximum upto 2 years then kids would get bored but it’s worth it

This comes in a beautifully presented box which is brightly coloured and attractive, and unfolds into segments filled with fun science facts.The three question types (How? What? Why?) cover a wide range of (mostly-biology related) queries presented on colourful circles of card with cute illustrations. The answers on the reverse are detailed but accessible for older children, I would say around 10 years old would be ideal as my 8 year old struggled a little with some of the concepts. He did, however, really like that the questions covered some gross topics like poo and bogies!As previously mentioned, the box is really lovely and it would make a great gift for older children, however, it is just cardboard and not massively robust, and it did suffer some damage when my 2 year old got hold of it and wanted to pretend it was a pizza!

From why our noses run to why we hiccup, we end up chatting about all kinds of fascinating stuff. It's like a mini-science party every time we break them out.Cons:While the pizza slice box is adorable, it's not the sturdiest. I worry it won't hold up to my daughters' enthusiasm for long.Verdict:Science Snippets has been a game-changer for my daughters' learning experience. Despite a concern about the box's durability, the joy and knowledge it brings into our home make it an invaluable addition to our educational resources. If you're looking for a fun, engaging, and educational way to learn about the human body, I highly recommend giving Science Snippets a try for your daughters.
