This is one of the best tourmaline slices I have! It measures a very large 23 x 15.5mm and is 10.1 carats. The clarity, polish and surface are superb. It has very vibrant color with fantastic zoning and several different color bands. The outer rind is a beautiful bubble gum pink that graduates from lighter to darker near the center, followed by a thin band of medium green, then very pale pink/clear band, then a darker green band, another pale pink/clear band and at the center is a fabulous medium peach/orange. It's just WOW! The piece is set entirely in 14K solid gold. The stunning stone is flanked by large clusters of faceted AAA pink tourmaline rondelles and vibrant orange sapphire teardrops, each hand wrapped with 14K ball head pins. This vibrant color combination is eye catching and truly amazing. The gem clusters make up approximately half of the 16 inch chain, and are followed by a 1.2mm flat cable that is accented with more bubble gum pink and grassy green tourmaline. It is finished with a sturdy 14K lobster clasp. There are no open jump rings on the entire piece, making it extremely durable. If you require added length, please convo me for a price.
