Great for tuning in noisy places
This was bought in addition to a CM-300-BK that I have had, and been pleased with, for three years. Apart from the jackplug size and logo the CM-300-BK and CM-400 seem identical. Both have a 30mm jaw capacity and 150cm cable. The 3.5mm mono jack on this model allows it to be used without adapters together with tuning software on a phone, tablet or laptop. It works with my Lenovo Moto and Thinkpad devices with no problem.Another reviewer complained that she could not fit on of these microphones to a bagpipe drone, but I, and other pipers have no problem clipping these onto great highland bagpipe drones and chanters. Their contact mechanism is especially useful in a band environment.
