I bought this camera and I’ve been blown away by the quality and features packed into such a compact device. The 4K video resolution and 64MP photos are crystal clear—perfect for vlogging, travel, or just capturing everyday moments. The autofocus is fast and reliable, and the 180° flip screen makes it easy to frame shots whether you’re behind or in front of the camera. I love that it comes with two batteries and a charging station, which means I can keep filming all day without worrying about running out of power. The WiFi connection is very convenient for quickly transferring pictures and videos without messing around with cables. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and the included SD card makes it ready to go right out of the box. Fairly easy to setup. Be warned though, you cannot use these for PoE and oddly the power supply is 9v. Bracket is easy to fix to wall. Be careful that you don't loose the DC seals as they come in a little bag, with weirdly 1 spare cover screw. Each cover takes 2 and there are 2 cameras in the box. Video is clear, not usually much lag, but that will depend on your network, and if you use the wired or wireless link. Had 1 for 2 plus years, used indoors and hasn't skipped a beat. Now trying these outdoors, and time will tell. It would be useful if Tapo and others, could have a temperature overlay option, that would be very useful. The InfraRed at night does a good job. You may be best to mount 8-10 feet up, and allow a good distance as the field of view is a bit narrow, compared to the other cameras I use. The app is good, but recently when viewing multiple cameras, there is either a 2 or 5 minute "you have been viewing for " that comes up and is extremely annoying. Happy with these cameras as just as good as another make that I have. Easy set up, easy manual adjustment on bracket, insert a micro SD card to save on the cloud storage costs and it loop records. Beware when removing the micro SD card door as the screws are tiny and I lost one on the floor and couldn't find it. Undo them over a container. Image quality good. Wifi connection easy.

Decided to buy this twin pack to cover a couple of areas. Installation is fairly easy as long as you have tools to get cables through walls (16 inch masonry drill bit) which luckily I have. So best to install the app as per the instructions which are straightforward and easy. From the app installation instructions are very easy. Picks up Wi-Fi no problem, which to be honest was my main concern. But first one installed was in a high and position 15 metres and 2 brick walls away from my router and still picked up Wi-Fi easily. Fitting is straightforward with a template included in the instructions for drilling mounting holes. There is as well as the power supply cable a cable for router connection, quite big and bulky. Rather than cut cables, I fitted a waterproof junction box alongside and sealed everything to make watertight. Performance so far is excellent, particularly like that each camera can be set independently to pick up in different modes. (Ie-motion detect-human detect etc) Microphone pick up for sound with video is excellent. Video recording is very good Night vision (black and white) also very good Have continuous loop recording to card, also easy to set up. Human detection is excellent and app notifications are very quick Not much in negatives really just some obvious weaknesses. Two way communication through the camera is a little weak as the speaker is very small Because the angle of view is just over 100 degrees, you’ll have to mount quite high to get good coverage Result of high mounting is some loss of resolution, but still acceptable. DIY fitting is easy except for the power lead to through a wall. But it is slim enough to fit through a closed window without damage to lead or warping window Overall would happily buy again and provides value for money.

Having recently swapped all my cameras to the Tapo brand, i can recommend these cameras due to there software camera app. No ads , and all the features that other brands make you pay for with a subscription. The cameras them selves work flawlessly, i have indoor cameras and the doorbells, all are now Tapo brand due to this reason. Please Tapo keep it this way and do not introduce ads trying to force buying a subscription.
