I bought this to replace my old wooden one. I'm really happy with this new one. It has an adjustable bracket you can move to fit the width of the flag. It also has two clips for flags with grommets or can used with a slide on banner type flag. If you are ordering this pole and don't have the mounting bracket to hold the pole to your structure you will need to order one.

Finally got a chance to unbox the new flag pole that was delivered to us on Wednesday and was looking forward to putting it up today. Slid it out of the plastic wrapper and a piece fell out onto the floor. Picked it up and noticed it was the broken nut from a plastic screw. Who uses plastic screws? This pole is garbage! I'll be returning it for a full refund and looking for a sturdy, well-built product. Does such a product even exist any more? Buyer beware!

My original review was not posted, so here we go again. First, the pole arrives in two pieces. The ball finial is plastic and the overall construction is not what you would expect for the price. At best, this would be worth approximately $10, far less than the price charged. I would not buy again as the poles available at your local hardware store are of same or better quality for far less.

Basically you unbox it, remove the plastic covering that protects the pole, attach the two poles together and you are done. Very easy to assemble.

I wanted black flagpoles to match the roof on our deck and these were reasonably priced. They are very easy to assemble though the clips that come with him for the flag or bit difficult to squeeze to get the flag in. Plastic sleeve that protects the pole might be a little long for some flags we had trouble with one of our flags but we just connected it with a zip tie. Three out of the four flags fit perfectly. It would be easy enough of course to trim the plastic sleeve if you needed to but since we switch our flags out fairly often zip tie worked fine. the color is a nice deep black with a matte finish and I was also able to find matching flag pole holders in black

We got a bunch of these for our office complex. We wanted to color code our parking lot to make it easier for people to find their way around. We had to take them down for the fall because the window sent 2 through the air. Luckily no one was injured and no property damaged. Some poles arrived with broken parts that had to be rigged to work (the ends that hold the flag in place) Many of the flags got so tangled up in themselves they looked horrible. Disappointed that we wasted money on this.

I would not buy this again. Plastic flag attatchment broke on bottom. Luckily I caught it before the top attachment broke. I replaced the plastic brackets with metal add on attachments and the pole bent during a slightly windy day. Unless you live where there is no wind, do not buy this flag pole.

I have two of these poles now. One is a year old and the new one I just received. Usually the plastic rings that the clips are attached to dry out and break. So far theses haven’t had that issue. Always a breeze at our house and these poles have held up well.
