This is a very nice starter kit to see if this old fashion shaving style is for you. The items in the kit are of really good quality. The brush is a very good hair brush that will lather your face very well. The cup is small but can be used to whip up a good lather. I use the items of this kit for traveling and they work very well and pack easily

I was curious about wet shaving and purchased this kit to get me started, rather than purchase all of the components separately. To start, it was relatively inexpensive. You would pay more if you bought each item separately, and you would probably buy a better quality item for each. But that was the point. I wasn’t sure I was going to stick with it, so I was unwilling to make the investment in better tools. Since I decided to keep wet shaving, I have upgraded the shave cream and the brush. I’m still using the tiny bowl and I am happy with the quality of it. I really am taken with the shaving bowl. It’s on the small side, and that works for me. It allows me to lather up in the bowl completely, and probably causes me to be more economical with the shave cream. In case you’re curious, the shave cream I’m using is Supply Ultra Lather Shave Cream. I recommend it without reservation. I also recommend that you consider using shaving oil. I have had a good experience with Woody’s for men shave oil.

I’m not used to shaving with a proper kit (I usually just use soap) so this is an awesome experience for me.The lather is really good, the quality of the brush is not great because its a simple plastic one but I didn’t expect badger hair with a 15$ kitOverall I’m very happy

The shaving bowl is very small and the included brush is perfect for stuffing it in a small toiletry bag. The included soaps are pretty decent,but hard to get a good lather.This is at best a travel size set so just a heads up if you're looking for this to be your main wet shave setip

Bought it as a gift for my boyfriend, it was a little smaller than expected but definitely lasts a while. I got it back in december and he still has most of his bar left 5 months later. Would purchase again, fits really nice in your bathroom if you don’t have much space.
