it’s pretty slow to start up, the proprietary adaptor for ethernet is annoying, even set up from an iphone hotspot can take a bit of work to get it going buy having the vpn and storage is pretty handy design wise it’s slippery as hell and will get scratched up a rubber base or rubber feet would really perfect an already great product 5 stars cos it’s better than the nighthawk m1 i replaced it with and isn’t obscenely expensive

Great, carefully thought of product. Only working LTE router with OpenVPN and Wireguard functionality. Even has a SD card so that I can put a 1TB Micro SD and make it a NAS on the go. I travel a lot and I need VPN to my office when I do. This is a excellent choice for me. I cannot wait until a compact travel 5G router to be available. Hopefully they will make one soon.

Quite complicated to set up!

A great LTE router that really meets what you expect from it! Pros: - OpenVPN and WireGuard support out of the box. - Excellent battery life, I got about 7-8 hours with a working VPN when connected via cable without WiFi. Just enough for a working day. - Compact and convenient. - Excellent OS, OpenWRT gives a lot of opportunities if you know what you are doing. - Very easy to set up and connect - Wireguard speed is about 30 Mbps without problems. Cons: - As many wrote, it heats up a little, but for the most part this is not a problem if you do not leave it in a closed case at +40. - The speed when working through OpenVPN is very weak, I got about 1-3 Mbps, so expect that you need to use Wireguard to get normal speed. Conclusion: Excellent LTE router for travel and remote work, I recommend it if you are looking for a reliable and compact solution with VPN and kill switch.
