Love this cookbook
So many great recipes!

Very veggie unfriendly, sadly.
For anyone trying to cook less meat (or none at all), this cookbook simply won't work. Looking through the recipes, about 80-85% use meat or fish of some kind. It's such a shame, I really wanted to love it.

As a long time follower and recipe subscriber, I couldn't wait for this book to arrive! The book is stunning and so thoughtfully curated. I love that it is organized by time to cook/prepare meals. Recipes can be searched by protein, occasion, and ingredient. There are lots of tips and tricks, as well as ideas for making various swaps for ingredients in case you don't have an item on hand, or simply want some options. And one of my favorite details is that ingredients are bolded within the recipe steps, often also including amount - so not just in the ingredient list, but within the recipe as well. This ingenious detail makes the recipes that much easier to follow. I've already cooked a few recipes and have been so pleased with everything so far. Try the Baked Tomato Butter Pasta - so easy and tasty! You won't regret it!! Five star cook book!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This has quickly become one of the heaviest rotation cookbooks in our house! So tasty and easy, recipes are good right off the page and require very little help which I can’t say for all cookbooks

I love this cookbook! I tend to collect cookbooks but really wanted this one because I felt like it would be something I’d actually use regularly. It’s also unlike any I have in its approach and appreciate that it’s broken down by time to put together. My only gripe, but not enough to deduct a star, is that you need to have a pretty well stocked fridge and pantry to make some of these recipes (such as red curry paste, fennel bulbs, and garam masala). So, a lot of recipes, even the 15 minute ones, still had me running to the grocery store to get things like ahi or spices. I didn’t mind because I felt like a lot of the things I picked up were ingredients my pantry could use for future recipes but just something keep in mind. That being said, Caroline does give tips at the beginning about how to stock your pantry and freezer so you won’t be far from most of the recipes in the cookbook and I love her approachable writing style. She also gives great saving tips like how to fancify instant ramen and multiple ways to use store bought rotisrrrie chicken. Also, everything I’ve made so far (spiced cauliflower and chickpeas, everything crusted tuna, lemon garlic butter shrimp orzo, and pesto meatballs) has been delicious, easy, and definitely doable when you don’t feel like cooking! I also think I’ll pick up a few for friends and family!
