The heat is beautiful and very hot just right temperature, It heat up very quickly in the small space. Makes a noise but that is normal like most heaters do. I have put this heater. In the small toilet downstairs, on the wall for extra heat. Best decision.

Had this installed by an electrician so can't say how easy it was to install but seems effective in operation. The electrician left it set on 1kW although it can be altered during installation to 2kw, considering the price of energy these days we kept it on 1kw but I needn't have worried, 10 minutes on and our bathroom is nice and toasty and as I don't like to hang about in the shower I am sure the cost of running it will be minimal. I was so sick of freezing to death in our bathroom since we can't use the central heating and this seemed the obvious answer. Only time will tell how long it lasts and I may come back to update this review if the situation changes.

I have been installing these heaters in bathrooms for several decades. They are very good provided you are careful in positioning them clear of showers etc and shelves etc. You have to decide on installation whether to use 1 kW or 2 kW. If you change your mind after a year to increase from 1 kW to 2kW there is a problem that dust will have accumulated on the second heating element giving a cloud of dust and possibly flame when switching on. If you start on 2 kW there may be a problem with the thermal cutout if the bathroom is too small - but in winter you may really need 2 kW. The only real problem I have is with the switch which used to be OK when made by Dimplex but redesign when Glenn took over was poor. I have twice had to replace heaters with broken switches - hence four stars instead of five. The last time the repolacement had a faulty thermal cutout and had to be returned for a replacement but the Amazon serive for returns worked OK.

After only two years of operation, it started to cut out too early despite a good clean. Instead of 30 minutes' operation, it cut out after 10 minutes, then after 4 minutes.
