Works great, connected instantly, haven't noticed any delay in the response or any quality loss over hardwiring. I have it set up with fairly clear line of sight about 12 or 13 feet apart. Worth it would have been a nightmare to run wires in the wall in that room. REL catches some flack in certain segments of the audio sphere but their stuff sounds great and just works..

I use this to connect stereo outputs from a Kara preamp to a PSA subwoofer. After making the connections and plugging in the wall warts, the transmitter and receiver automatically paired within about 5 seconds. Since then it has worked flawlessly. The build quality of the units is excellent, too. They feel solid and substantial and the finish is beautiful. The RCA cords that are supplied are nothing special but the connectors are gold-plated. The plugs on the wall warts are small enough so that they do not interfere with adjacent plugs if you use them on a power strip (unlike how some bricks take up more than one plug space). Finally, I compared the features and price with three other reputable brands and the REL not only was the most versatile, but it had the lowest price. Very impressive. They just work, and are unobtrusive. Oh.. there's one "complaint" - the light that shows the pairing status is very bright so it could be annoying unless you either turn it off when not in use or put them in a somewhat hidden area.

Plug and play, literally. Worked right out of the box with no hiccups. The RCA cables seem a bit cheap, but they work, so... Other than the blue LEDs being bright, no issues. The price was a bit lower that other options from known audio brands.

I wanted to replace my Amphony wireless transmitter in the hopes of upgrading the signal to my subwoofer. The Amphony works well, and I've never had a transmission issue, but after reading about this REL transmitter, I thought that I could improve upon what I currently had with the Amphony. The transmitters are shiny and weighty, unlike the flimsy plastic Amphony. When I first connected it, it seemed to work well. I had done numerous tests using the same audio track with the Amphony, and now with the REL. The distortion in the bass had dropped noticeably with the REL, and it was indeed a cleaner signal. But right away I also noticed that the signal kept dropping. The distance between the transmitter/receiver was not more than 13 feet. I have a component cabinet that the transmitter resided in and the receiver for the sub was diagonally located across from it in the corner behind the couch. Same spots that the Amphony transmitter/receiver were in. I tried all that I could - securing connections, powering everything down, new cables, etc. Nothing I did prevented the intermittent drop outs. I looked for a customer service contact to resolve my issue, but there was only the Amazon bots so I decided to return it. Unfortunately I passed the deadline because I waited too long. Otherwise I would definitely return it. I've gone back to the Amphony for now, grateful for it's steadfast connectivity.

Dropouts happened about every week. Pressing syncing buttons don't work. Must disconnect and reconnect power cord to reestablish connection. PITA
