Good dehumidifier
We ordered this for the basement of our small church. So far it seems to be working fine but it is a bit noisy. We tried another brand and it worked for a day and we had to return it.

Great Product
I have a warehouse in South Florida where the humidity is very high all year round. This machine has been amazing. The space is about 2,000 sq feet with 20 feet high ceiling, this machine does the trick. It removes some 70qt of water in 24hrs, I tested it using a cooler and having the water drain into it. The power cable is long the drain hose is long the noise is too loud for you to be in the space while it is on. I run it every night when we leave the warehouse and turn it off when we come in to work the next day. It is not "light weight" so I placed it on top of a cart so that I can easily move it around as needed, and at the same time protect it. as we expend into a second location I will buy another one, perhaps just larger as I know it works and it is worth the money.

This dehumidifier will not break the bank and pulls moisture like a champ!
Installed the dehumidifier in my encapsulated crawlspace. (see image) Basic controls but great information such as intake temp/humidity and output temp/humidity readings. The unit has a high output fan of at least 300 CFM. The manual says 250-500CFM and I can verify it is a variable speed fan. When the compressor is not running the fan drops RPM and ramps right back up when the compressor kicks on. It's possible during defrost mode the fan speed ramps up even higher. This is unknown since the manual does not explain how the unit works very well. 1. Great moisture extraction CHECK! 2. Good build quality CHECK! 3. The unit has medium noise levels CHECK! 4. The display shows all the technical info you need to know for a running unit. Even has an ammeter built in. When the unit hits the set humidity level, a 3 minute timer appears and the compressor runs for 3 more minutes. Then when the compressor stops the fan runs for 30 seconds (another countdown timer you can see) and the unit then shuts off. When the humidity rises past the set point, the fan kicks on for 30 seconds then the compressor kicks on. The items to be aware of. 1. Support is good 2. The manual is OK but does not provide anything more than very basic technical information. 3. Website does not have the manual to download (you have to ask) UPDATE: The unit is about 10-12 points off. I have the unit set to 55 percent and it gets my crawl down to 45-43 percent and it is working well albeit not accurate or even close. I worked with the MFG to try and get a new intake Temp/RH sensor and they sent me 2. But the ones they sent are clones of SHT11 sensors which use serial communication. The one on my unit looks to be a sensor that uses I2C protocol which is not compatible with SHT11 sensors serial type data. I have asked the manufacturer to verify what type of THS sensor it is so I can replace it with an accurate one they provide or even buy one myself. I have also asked if there is a hidden tech menu that allows calibration adjustments for the THS sensor. Still waiting on a response. Please note, while the MFG seems to be helpful, it takes to long to get a response and most people would simply send the unit back. I like the quality of the unit (minus the sensor) so I am not so fast to return it, In fact I decided to keep it. I will also be installing a duct adapter kit by DriEaz which the Mounto seems to be a clone of but with a better compressor and thicker copper tubing. I dropped the unit to 3 stars because of the THS sensor and the annoyance of wrong replacement parts being sent.

Great quality. Great Price.
I'm glad this brand exists. It's just as good as Phoenix or Dri-Eaz. Half the price. This industry is full of overpriced equipment. Glad Mounto is out here selling great quality at a reasonable price.

Stopped working after 16 hours. No product support
Worked great for 16 hours. Now when you turn it on, it only runs for 45seconds then shuts down Contacted the number from website and sent emails to their warranty department. The phone number went to a mobile voicemail and the email never returned. UPDATE: After this initial review got the attention of the seller, they Sent me a new unit and said they shipped a fan too. The new unit worked and dried the house in a day or so. UPDATE 2 The new unit failed just as the first one after 4 days. No fan was ever received. Should not call this commercial grade, it’s junk.

Great, solid product. UPDATE: New shipments are total garbage
Great product. Fits easily into a crawl space entry cupboard. Does it’s job well. Is a little more expensive that I’d like, but it seems to be the best cost/value I could find. UPDATE: I ordered three more of these MOUNTO 80-pint Commercial Crawl Space Dehumidifiers. One made an awful clicking sound when the fan turned on, so we returned it. The other two seemed to work properly. This past two weeks, we used one of the two remaining for the first time in an actual dehumidification environment instead of just in the office. The dehumidifier worked fine, but the pump does not work. Total garbage. It just pooled in the basin and poured over the edges back into the soil. So we have 1 of 3 that has any use at all. FINAL UPDATE My tantrum was noticed, and MOUNTO was kind enough to ship me a replacement unit without any additional hassle. The pump motor on the new unit is far superior and also much quieter so you don’t get the screeching metal sound.
