Because of this small, easy to use sharpener, I didn’t need to replace my weed and brush trimmers. It is small enough to carry, just in case I need to use it in the middle of a project. But I haven’t had to do that yet. It takes a little trial time to get the right angle, but then it sharpens those blades up easily and quickly. This little sharpener provides such a big savings in replacement tools or professional sharpening.

Tool is of good quality and has an excellent fit to the index finger and palm for use. Feels just like a whetstone when sharpening and produces a good edge. Not really suitable for large shears as advertised. Not enough weight/blade area coverage so takes a "LOT" longer to sharpen them which wears on the fingers/hand.

What a handy and novel sharpener that works like a charm and quick too. Perfect for a fisherman (hooks/knives and hunters) for a quick sharp etch. Bought a couple for travel and fishing/hunting vests. Will buy again for gifts to those buds like me.

Its awesome, works great

It sharpens really well. This isn't magic but it's awfully cool to be able to sharpen a tool in a few seconds. If you like sharp tools this is a tool that makes that happen. I haven't tried sharpening anything really tricky with it except shears. It did not fix them because shears are a rather more complex tool than we give them credit for.

Was hoping for a product that worked better than this one. I bought because I’ve bought and used several other products from Sharpal and was extremely satisfied. But this one is a complete waste of your time and money. I cannot anyone giving this a better review than what I have. Sometime looking for the easiest and cheapest way out becomes a black hole… your time and money get sucked in and you get nothing but disappointment. Sorry but that’s the way I feel.

This sharpener works great. My son had ordered one and I was impressed.
