5 Keys Super Silver Heavy Duty Padlock Lock for Garage Warehouse Shipping Container

I purchased this to protect my new Fiido T2 longtail ecargo bike. Ebikes are expensive and are targets for theft. The lock is big and heavy by and just looking at it would probably put me off trying to steal whatever it was protecting but then again I'm not a professional sub human who makes a living stealing other decent people's stuff by going equipped with the tools to do it, but you can only do so much to prevent it. The key looks very complicated and seems to be a locksmiths nightmare from my POV. The lock easily accommodates two ends of a thick Kryptonite flex cable. The lock is big enough not to be missed on a visual scan. I feel very confident in leaving my bike for an hour at Aldi where you get all types (if you know what I mean). I don't know about all night in a down and out trash area, perhaps there are other options for this scenario like don't even try it! But for my purposes, this lock is really great. The key fits in the side, turns and releases the bolt which does not retract completely. It comes with three keys. The lock is well plated for protection against the weather and sturdy, but nothing is 100% weatherproof so mine will get a spray in the key works every couple of weeks during the winter. On the end of the cable when locked, it fits easily over my shoulder like a bag and I wouldn't want it swung against my person as I guess it would be quite lethal in that role! The product was well packaged and delivered with care and on time. I am a skilled electrical mechanical engineer by profession and was an on screen expert for BBC Watchdog and Rogue Traders for some years and subsequently sworn to honesty. I tend to research a product drilling down into the quality and value of the item before I buy. I am not paid for my reviews and have no personal gain from them. I have no difficulty recommending this item. What's not to like. Go buy!

This padlock is an absolute beast. I was actually expecting something smaller but this is built to last and is probably a bit of overkill for what I needed it for. I'm using it to padlock and expensive plant to the outside of my house but this could easily be used to padlock something far more valuable. The set of keys are useful and there's plenty of them but overall this is excellent value for money and I can't see anyone being able to break this padlock it certainly wouldn't be the weak point in any security.

Very heavy but very substantial. Super strong with good smooth key action. Large lock body with toughened steel locking rod. It's a little overkill for what I wanted, but when it's in position and locked, nothing is going to get past it! A reassuringly secure padlock. Rust ressistent plated finish, it should last for years.

Worse lock I have ever used Went rusty within days🤬 Now the key don’t turn so I can’t lock it Will be requesting a refund as it is not fit for purpose Had to leave my container in a vulnerable situation Not happy at all If I could put negative stars I would Avoid like the plague please and learn from my mistake

Downside . Entry hole for key seems to large and easy to hammer a screwdriver into to break lock . Key design doesn't appear to be that complicated to pick compared to better known brands Positives Very Heavy and Sturdy Lock Good value for money 5 keys .
