Awesome light for my game room pool table. Liked it so much, I bought another one to go above my poker table.

Used over a 6 ft long island in my kitchen great lighting i put more dull bulbs in so its not excessively bright while your eating or talking with friends and it creates a nice touch.

This is a really nice lucky light pervert to install above your billiards table over a long kitchen island or other similar locations. It could even be a dining light if you prefer a more dimly lid dining area. The light has a bit of weight to it, whenever I noticed that that’s usually a good sign of a high-quality light made with quality components not just cheap plastic everywhere. The light comes with everything you need to install. It included in the kit, including the mounting bracket it’s fairly easy to install just connect your mounting bracket to your homes electrical box in the ceiling, then connect your homes, wiring to the light with the included wire nuts you’ll likely need someone to help you hold it up during this stage as it’s kind of heavy and you don’t really have enough extra cord to make it all the way to the floor. Once you have the electrical connected, you simply mount the junction box cover and light to the mount bracket you just installed hang the light and you’re basically done you’re gonna spend a little bit getting ready to install this one probably 20 minutes prep time and another 20 minutes doing the install, but all in all it’s pretty straightforward. Looks great and shines enough light to make it attractive show peace in the room going to look great over the new pool table.

Despite this being called a pool table light, I think the design of this particular one lends itself to being installed other than in a games room. We put this light over the breakfast bar at the cottage, and it looks fantastic. The look really adds to the ambiance of the wood cabin aesthetics. Perfect lighting, not harsh on the table, and a nice diffused glow through the shades. The bear motif gives it a little elegance, but the pattern is subtle and blends in with the overall look nicely. As I said, installing it was straightforward when you’re just replacing an existing fixture with no additional wiring required. I thought balancing the table light level would be difficult, but with the chains being cut to equal length, no additional adjustments were needed. Overall, my wife loves the design, and it complements our cottage decor. The quality is nice, the finishing is good, and the installation was fairly simple. The lighting is good, casts even lighting over the counter, the shades do a good job of diffusing the light and covers the bulbs so there are no direct bulbs shining in our eyes when we are looking at the lights from across the room or around the counter, so with that said, I will assume that it will work nicely over a pool table too.

I really love the rustic aesthetics of this pool table light. I’ve been looking for one for a while that didn’t have a pool or billiards theme since I’m putting it over a rec table that we regularly play cards or do puzzles on. It’s very stunning to see dropping down from the ceiling, and acts like a centre-piece in the space. One of the other things we were looking for was a light that we could use our own bulbs, and not with LED lights built in. I really like that I can use any E26 bulbs. It creates a nice ambient light over our table, good for playing cards, but even though we’re using 3x 60W bulbs, it’s not as bright as we’d like for doing puzzles. The hardware is very nice, and the black is a sharp contrast to the light shades when it’s turned on. Overall, the quality is very good. I did expect the shades to be actual glass with a stained-glass look, but I guess it’s acrylic. It’s not that noticeable, and the light still diffuses nicely with the colors. Anyway, we got it for the aesthetics, and it looks really great in our space, so we’re all very happy with it.

I installed this light in my basement game room over top of an elongated gaming table. We use it as a family to play board games, play poker, and complete larger projects. I already had a ceiling mounted box install installed for a ceiling fan, so installation was relatively easy. If you don't have a box already you'll need the help of an electrician, and also want to make sure that the box is secured to a stud, joist, or crossbeam. I wired it up without any issues and had the light installed and hanging at the optimal height in about 25 minutes. Adjusting the height chain isn't difficult, but is made a lot easier with some helping hands. Lightbulbs aren't included, but it is a standard household E26 base sockets, so they're easy and cheap to source. I chose to install Phillips Hue lightbulbs which allows for some colour customization. Any RGB light bulbs would achieve this effect nicely. I feel $259 is a bit high for the overall quality and design, but if you see it on sale for anything under $200 that would make it a great value.
