Works great in my iPhone 8 and iPad 6 for transferring files between them or to/from my iMac.

Useful adapter for when no USB A to lightning cable available. Does the job, Not qualified to comment on the claimed Apple certification!

Connect usb devices to iphone
I had seen on YouTube that it can connect a garmin gps to an iPhone using this , it works using the files app, also connects thumb drives so you can transfer photos ect from phone to free up memory.

Stopped working
Lasted less than 6 hours before it stopped connecting to the device I was using. Waste of money.

Finnicky, a little bit hit or miss
First off the looks and build quality of this device are top notch - it looks a lot nicer than even the official Apple ones in my opinion, and it is very solidly built with great cable.However, it could really do with some instructions - even basic ones - to talk you through how to use the file input/output as there was no way it was obvious to someone who hasn't used one of these before. It took a lot of Googling to get it working in the most basic way, and even now I aren't sure if it works for saving files from Microsoft Word or not.A mixed bag to be honest, but might suit someone who knows how to use one.
