I bought it for my Breville Oracle Touch, and it's a game changer. The coffee has a smoother taste. I thought it would be a problem with the water flow, but no, the flow is perfect. It's very easy to use and Very well made. Oh, and Super easy to clean. I'm surprised how well it works. It's lightweight and the size is perfect.

It keeps the group head free of coffee grinds. Fits the portafilter perfectly. It helps in getting an even extraction. Face the smooth side down against the tamped puck and the holes facing up. I use this stainless steel screen on top and a filter paper on bottom of the portafilter, because the puck likes to stick to the holes when knocking the puck out. This definitely enhances the process of making good espresso.

It's sturdy and well made for what it is. It is my thinnest puck screen, and I'm not sure it makes a real, meaningful difference in my work flow compared to my less expensive 1.0 and 1.7mm puck screens.I do like how sturdy it is for how thin it is, and it's reasonably easy to keep clean.It's good for what it is, but I'm not sure I needed to add this to my existing two puck screens that were cheaper (as a pair) than this one...but it doesn't hurt to have three working puck screens.

Saw this for sale and heard great things about these, so pulled the trigger on a name brand one. So glad I did, when I backflush now there is no old coffee gunk in my blind filter! Amazing how clean it keeps the brew head, I'm a total convert.

Thin and sturdy construction. Easy to clean. Overall, it has a nice finish and I like the smooth quality edge finish compared to the 1.7mm puck screen with a rough finish. It fits perfectly to a 54mm portafilter.

For the pure enthusiast of good espresso, puck screens are a must have. These particular screens come off as being of good quality and perfect filters for that intended purpose. Actually, any espresso puck will work but some are better than others. All have a definite learning curve or adaptability curve to tend with. With these screens you lessen that, to a point, and still achieve that espresso extraction you are craving. They fit most portafilter baskets with little 'escape' potential. Meaning when in use you achieve little "bleeding' from the edges. Which is a good thing. The width is ideal for everyday use and certainly enhances your experiences with extraction. Again, there is a learning curve, and you may have to adjust your grind(s) to get the 'correct' extraction. Something that is inherent with screens but worth the effort. You can certainly go with paper, but probably will not get the consistency you are seeking with reuseable metal ones. Final note? If you are in the market for getting the near perfect extraction, eliminate channeling, and increasing your love for espresso, then by all means look into these for your espresso collection. For a lot more you can get high-end screens that will do just about the same thing, but dollar for dollar, these won't disappoint. Good quality, good materials, and thus far produce desired espresso.

Fits my 58mm Gaggia portafilter perfectly. I bought this because it was recommended to use a puck screen to keep the shower head clean, which I have definitely noticed less coffee grounds stuck on it since using it. Overall feels heavy and looks like it is made put of good quality metal.Don't believe it makes a huge difference in espresso flavor but happy with the value for money and performance so far.

These keep the shower screen on my espresso machine clean and do a great job of keeping good dispersion of the water through the full puck when I'm pulling a shot.

Ich verwende dieses Puck-Sieb in einer La Marzocco Micra. Diese hat in der Mitte des Siebes eine Schraube, die durch das Puck-Sieb schön rundherum abgedeckt wird. Die Verarbeitung des Siebes ist toll. Ich verwende das Puck-Sieb ausschließlich damit die Maschine durch das Kaffeepulver aus dem Siebträger nicht verschmutzt wird. Und genau hier sind Papierfilter besser. Man kann sie perfekt mit dem benutzten Puck entsorgen, während man das Metallsieb reinigen muss. Das Sieb der Maschine bleibt mit Papierfiltern zu 100% sauber während das vorhandene Metallsieb durch die mittige Auskerbung für die Schraube, doch ein wenig Pulver reinlässt. Außerdem ist das Metallsieb etwas dicker als ein Papierfilter, ergo passt weniger Pulver in den Portafilter. Das ist nicht tragisch aber man muss es wissen. Für die Öko-Freunde: Ich weiss nicht ob das Wasser zum Reinigen des Metallsiebes wirklich umweltfreundlicher ist als die dünnen Papierfilter. Sei‘s drum: wer einen Siebträger mit Schraube in der Mitte hat und ein Metallsieb will, kann getrost zugreifen, es lohnt sich. Persönlich bevorzuge ich die Papierfilter, werde das Teil aber trotzdem behalten.

Fits a 58mm portafilter well. After pulling a shot of espresso, you can see where each hole was evenly distributing water over the top area of the puck surface. I can't say it has changed the flavour profile of my espresso in comparison to a basic puck screen. But it looks classy and works as advertised!

I can't tell a difference in shot quality from this compared to a mesh filter, but it's a lot thinner (which means more coffee in the basket) and much easier to clean.
