Can't complain. Fine enough mesh pattern for my need. Which was exterior vent screen. Needed something both for high temp and weather resistant application. So stainless steel is what I went for.After 3 months still looks new. Bendable but rigid enough to keep it's shape well. Have plently leftover on roll and should prevent any kind of pest that matters for my application.

I bought a roll of this to make screens for my sprouting jars, and I also made a screen to keep beans away from the bottom of my pressure cooker when making beans, chili and pea soup, to help prevent scorching at the bottom. Be careful that small particles of stainless wire don't come loose if yku try this. I used a heat-resistant RTV silicone from a tube to make a bead around the circumference of the screen to glue all the small loose pieces into place so there would be no danger of wire bits getting into any food. The better solution to the scorching problem is to place the beans or peas into a separate container inside the pressure cooker so that the food cannot make direct contact with the bottom of the pressure cooker, but there must be plenty of room for water around and under the second inner container, or obviously there will be big problems!!! 😄

I bought this for separating worm cocoons from their castings. Works really well for this, I definitely caught more with this than I did with my 8 mesh screen. Only negative is that it's woven rather than welded which causes it to fray around the edges pretty easily

I used this 8 mesh to sift an infestation of snails from a 250 gallon aquarium. This size mesh allows the snails to be be sifted out and the sand to be recovered. Stainless steel is safe for aquarium use and will not rust during the interval when it will be used again.

The spacing on this mesh/screen is PERFECT! It should be able to keep out most bugs and allow for great air flow without rusting. I haven't found stuff in our local stores as good as this.

Had mice enter my daughter's car thru the HVAC snorkel thru the firewall into the HVAC fan housing. Caused a nasty smell. After the fan housing was scrubbed, cleaned and disinfected we needed a method of preventing return visits. Sprayed Peppermint oil in the engine bay as well as covered the intake snorkel for the fan on the firewall just below the windshield with this mesh. I had to make a form for the snorkel so I just cut one out of a 2 x 4 with a jig blade then screwed the form to a 2 x 6. Laid the mesh over the form and used small IRWIN quick clamps to for the sides in a racetrack shape. Fits beautifully and turned out to be a great Dad/Daughter project.
