A miracle!
I cannot believe what a difference Enterade has made in my life! I was between my 4th and 5th cycle of up to 12 chemo treatments when I read about Enterade. I experienced such horrific side effects from the Chemotherapy (Folfiri, also known as 5FU)...severe nausea, emesis and agonizing abdominal cramps and diarrhea. I was sick for up to 10 days after my treatments. I had given up hope of ever feeling better again. Enterade is a LIFESAVER! I ordered both flavors and remained skeptical. I had tried almost everything else, prescription and OTC, ginger tea, eating organic ginger root, and while I had some relief, the constant nausea persisted. From the first bottle, the relief was almost instant. No more nausea!!!!!! No more cramps!!!! Still some diarrhea, but nothing compared to before Enterade! I would pay 10 times the cost for the relief it offers me! However, my oncologist said if it worked for me, he would order it for me by prescription. I can't say enough great things about it! Best money I've ever spent!! I am not crazy about the taste of either flavor, but they are palatable. Enterade is Godsend!!!! I only wish I'd found out about it sooner! I gave it five stars, but I'd give it 10 stars if that were an option!

Helps chemo patients
My husband has pancreatic cancer and this has helped him during chemo. I found out about on Oncopower, an app for cancer pts which has been a very helpful site and is used by cancer patients, doctors and nurses. I read reviews on here and was hesitant to buy it since some people said the taste was awful, but my husband doesn’t mind the taste at all and it’s one of the few things he will drink when he’s at his worst. Some say it’s the same as Gatorade, but I don’t think so. He will take a sip of Gatorade, and stops. With Enterade, he drinks the entire bottle in one sitting. I’m happy knowing he at least has some fluid in him on his bad days. My only complaint is the cost. It’s expensive, but at this point, it’s worth it for now.

Couldn’t believe it worked!
I have to admit, I didn’t hold out much hope for this drink to do everything it claimed to do. After trying every type of medicine to heal my insides and get rid of severe stomach pain every time I ate, I felt hopeless. But as I watched my body lose much needed weight week after week I was willing to try anything. I had zero appetite and zero energy. I was afraid to eat but knew I couldn’t go on like this without medical intervention like a feeding tube. After just a few days of drinking it *as directed* I was able to start eating small amounts of bland food without pain. Fast forward to a few weeks later and I’m starting to eat more regularly, the weight loss has slowed down, and more energy is returning from the much needed calories I’m able to eat. Before starting Enterade, I had lost 20+ lbs in just 3 weeks. This past 3 weeks I’ve only lost 2lbs. My hope is at my next chemo treatment the weight loss has stopped or maybe even gained a few pound (fingers crossed!). I get treatment every 3 weeks so that’s my measuring stick. Is it cheap: no. Is it a delightful, fruity cocktail: no. But this is medicine. And after years of continuous chemo & radiation & truly terrible procedures I’ve been through — this is really not that big of a deal. Treat it as the medicine it is and it’ll make it easier to take (it really isn’t that bad tho!).After all, we are in the fight for our lives.Treat it that way. Hold your nose is you have to!**Since Enterade is a medical food its super important to take as directed. Take on an empty stomach 30mins before any other liquids or food or 1 hour after eating. I find the best way to do this is to drink one bottle first thing in the morning and again right before I go to bed.I drank 2 bottles a day at first which got pretty expensive. But once my gut was able to handle food again and digest it correctly (without going right through me - TMI!), I am able to achieve the same affects drinking only 1 bottle a day now.Don’t be shy about calling your insurance either! That’s why we have it, right. Ask them their process for reimbursement since this is a legit medical food. My insurance did.Yeah, not a quick process but it’s nice having that money back in my pocket!Good luck and hang in there. We got this!

Product works, but bottles are sometimes not properly sealed
I have used Interade twice a day through 8 rounds of chemo. I have had no nausea and limited diarrhea. Unfortunately several of the bottles I received did not have sealed caps. They turned easily as if they had been previously opened. I did not drink them for fear of contamination. They do not take returns or offer any adjustments or refunds through Amazon. Also if you are counting the number of bottles you need each week, it means you might have to skip a dose before the next shipment arrives.

I ordered orange but received vanilla.
Product in general is good for what i need it for but the vanilla flavor in my opinion is not good which is why I ordered orange.

Had serious side effect - could not use
My wife tried this because it is sold to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy. Drinking one bottle in the morning before eating, as stated in the directions, almost instantly caused severe diarrhea. Thinking this might have been a coincidence she tried it on another day and it again almost at once caused severe diarrhea. Another reviewer had the same problem. We now have the 10 bottles shown in the photos that will never be used remaining from the 12 bottle shipment. This set recovery from a chemo infusion back two or three days instead of helping. This could have been more serious depending on a patient’s condition.I would not recommend adding this to your chemotherapy regimen. We asked our doctor who recommended a number of other common drinks and tablets for hydration and to replace electrolytes. In the last few weeks, we have found that homemade chicken soup made from a whole chicken and vegetables is much more effective at calming an unsettled stomach. It is warming, good to eat and provides both electrolytes and hydration. It also contains amino acids including cysteine, glutamic acid, glycine, and tryptophan, but does not have bad side effects. The cost is also low and it is recommended at many hospitals for patients undergoing chemotherapy.
