Stallings is a joke
Dont get this if you actually want to know how any cryptology works. The math is especially nonsensical. The author uses overly-convoluted labels and symbols that he completely fails to explain, then he goes on to skip steps in the (very limited) examples. There are no example problems worked through, so nothing to really test your grasp of the subject with. Which is fitting, because with this book, you won't grasp much other than a casual conversation-level understanding of the topic. Pathetic.
