how often does this carbon need to be changed? I had others that needed to be changed every 3 months

I use these in my Winix 5500-2. The carbon Filter is washable and I just replaced it and the Hepa filter which you can vacuum with this package after a year of using the 1st set that came with my air purifier and we still have alot of carbon pieces left in it. The carbon filter without the actual pieces in it, just the mesh kind needs replacement every 3 months. Believe me, these are the best I've bought. Alot better with the odors or smoke being it is not the mesh kind. You won't be disappointed!!! They do a Fantastic job!!!

what is the MERV rating of this product?

I brought this replacement filter and it did not work. The indicator light is still on, indicating that the filter needs to be replaced. Don’t buy this product!

Is the hepa filter washable?

No. The HEPA filter is not washable.
