OneTouch Delica Plus Lancets for Diabetes Testing | Extra Fine 33 Gauge Lancets for Blood Test | Diabetic Supplies for Blood Sugar Monitor | Lancets for Lancing Device, 100 Count : desertcart.co.uk: Business, Industry & Science Review: They do their job - Ok, let's be straight about this - these are to pierce the skin to get a drop of blood for diabetic testing; and they do this very well indeed. But I will add a bit more on this - some reviewers have commented that the OneTouch unit, into which these fit, breaks easily. I'd say, having used the same one for well over 3 years that, like most items made of plastic, a small amount of abuse can be tolerated; but up to a limit. In passing, these lancets are 30-gauge (33-gauge are finer and also available). Given that any pain experienced upon lancing is almost certainly due to the impact setting set too high (the capiliaries that these are intended to puncture are just under the skins' surface - nerves are deeper, (if the impact level is too high, the lancet is reaching the nerve and hence too deep), so reduce the impact level; level 3 works fine for me, out of a possible 7 levels - yes, I'm aware of the impact, but it does not 'hurt' because the lancet does not reach the nerve. Review: Great product for the price and very special for diabetic people.

I typically get these via my medical insurance, but when I forget to and need to order them as I'm running out, I either get them on Amazon or at CVS. These on Amazon are exactly like the ones I get the MI insurance and work just as well. Good product and fair price.

No one likes to stick themselves with a needle every day to keep track of their blood sugar. These lancets fit the Delica One Touch kit perfectly and it’s very easy to adjust the lancet penetration depth by rotating the adjustment to the proper number. The needle (lancet) is very sharp and tiny, allowing you to draw the necessary amount of blood to complete the test with minimal pain and effort. If you have to monitor your sugar level this is the way to go.
