Dalmatia Sour Cherry Spread (8.5 ounce)

A deliciously sweet and sour preserve for your sandwiches and crackers. I like it with a bit of whipped cream cheese. My favorite is on toasted croissant bread (and yes, it may be expensive for bread, but it's sure cheap for croissants.) I have added apples and strawberries and another sandwich is with sour cherry, cream cheese, and blueberries. Yum! My heritage is Swedish, so an open-face sandwich is almost mandatory for me. These are two made with Dalmatia's Sour Cherry Spread.

Small bottle Big taste. The balance between the sour and sweet was just right if you like to taste the mild sour of the cherries but also enjoy the sweetness of the sugar. It contains just the right amount of ingredients and none that are not necessary. Ingredients: Organic Sour Cherries, Organic Cane Sugar, Water, Fruit Pectin, Citric Acid, Lactic Acid - an Organic natural ingredient to regulate acidity, ascorbic acid - a natural ingredient Vit. C to preserve color ). It doesn't have a long list of chemicals you can't even pronounce. I also appreciate the glass container that can be recycled. It is small and I'm collecting them to keep some of my frequently used condiments right by my stove and label them with my Brother label maker. They look beautiful. Not only would I buy it again, I'm ordering some of the other flavors. It doesn't disappoint.

We began purchasing this product at our grocery when trying to find not too sweet , not too tart cherry preserves. We found this one in the deli section among a variety of similar products from Croatia and other places. They were out of stock for a while, so with not much expectation of finding it, I checked Amazon and there they were.

Delicious and high quality

My son swears by this stuff, sweet and tart! Real cherries inside, great for a fruit spread on pancakes and waffles!
