I've only had the mattress for the past week. Even though you are supposed to give the mattress 24 hours before sleeping on it. I couldn't and didn't wait. I ordered the Plush version. Because I didn't wait at first I thought the mattress was too soft and I like a soft mattress. However, the second night the mattress was perfect and I've slept more soundly then I have in years.I had received a catalogue from a company that makes the same type of mattress using the same certified latex and after reading about them I decided I had to have one. Problem was they were all priced in the thousands of dollars; so began my search online. I reviewed mattresses from a few online sites and then came across Brentwood Home. I couldn't believe the price. So affordable for exactly what I was looking for.I do have problems with my shoulders. joints and lower back. I'm glad to say I don't feel as stiff as I did in the morning. In fact I hadn't realized on I've contorted my body to get into a comfortable enough position to fall asleep on my side. Not anymore. You just don't realize how much your sleep and by virtue, your health is affected by the quality of your sleep.I read where some buyers complained of a smell when they first unwrapped their mattress to let it decompress. My mattress was odor free.I've already told a couple of people I know who were looking to purchase a mattress and didn't want to spend thousands to get the comfort they were looking for and I told them about my new bed.

I have been searching for a mattress for months. I owed a Icomfort optimum Icool mattress fr 3 years. I started getting back aches and not sleeping through the night. Tossing and turning I started looking online. Couldn't afford a temperpedic. I did some research and I call the Brentwood company and they were very helpful. They recommended the S-bed for me. I almost purchased the HD gel bed but we went over all my concerns and I bought the S-bed. I have had the bed for 3 weeks now and I love it. No back aches. I and a back and side sleeper. It's cool and I don't get hot at night. I cannot feel my partner get out of bed or we don't get over heated together. I would recommend this bed to anyone with a restless night sleep. I work 12hr shifts at the hospital and in on my feet all day...so this is my heaven. Thank you brentwood!!

We love, love, love our new Brentdwood Home S-Bed 11-inch Certified Organic Memory Foam Mattress.It arrived right on time. We set it on our new Sleep Master Platform Metal Bed Frame, carefully cut open the plastic packaging and let the mattress expand to size. I didn't notice any smell.We have been sleeping on it for a week. Both my husband and I are very happy.We wanted a Firm mattress. He is a stomach-sleeper and I sleep on my side. We both have back problems but not with this mattress. It is firm enough to give us the back support we need but it is just soft enough to keep us from waking up stiff or sore. We have both noticed that we often wake up in the same position we fell asleep in. We also bought a Wool-Tite waterproof mattress protector to be sure that mold and/or bacteria will never be a problem.

I love this bed! It's awesome, I was seriously nervous about ordering a mattress online, but I've noticed it's commonplace now. I got a king size plush. The good points: It really does help keep you cooler than the memory foam of old. My husband who other than in the dead of northern Utah winter sleeps on top of the blankets has been midway through the day getting under them. (We both work graveyards) Also it's not to squishy, you don't sink in like with the mattress toppers, but it's also a great amount of support for lower backs with pinched nerves. It also helps reduce some of the pain in my neck where the disks are herniated. I spend a lot more time in bed now hanging out reading ect. The bad: Honestly there really isn't many if there's one thing it's that you can't just toss it on top of a box springs and expect it to work like magic. I'm so not mechanically inclined I got a platform bed from Ikea. It was an awful shopping experience, but it came it an alan wrench! Ah, and took a lot of other tools to, it took 12 hours to put together. I hope I never move. Mine was fluffed enough to sleep on in 1 to 2 hours, but I do know you can order directly from the manufacturer and they should have a discount code as well for a bit cheaper than Amazon. I was just honestly sick of shopping by this time & it was super convenient. If I had to do it all over again or if I find myself needing to purchase another bed for any reason I will definitely buy again from this company.

Do not buy this bed! It's discontinued from the original manufacturer so anything Amazon has is old! My box arrived looking like it had been shipped around the world 5 times. Original tape must have busted loose because it was re-taped. I opened the box and mattress appeared to be clean so I didn't reject the shipment. Left it out for 3 days and it didn't fully expand. The manufacture date was August of 2015 so it must have been a symptom of sitting too long in inventory? My mother-in-law owns one of these beds and they are amazing! But, this particular one was defective. Amazon processed a full refund, but in my opinion they took too long and put me on hold about 10 times and ended up going through 2 customer service reps. Now I'll have to pay $30+ to get this recycled. Ugh.

Did not expand fully, now I have to find a way to dispose of it. Amazon did promise to refund the purchase.

The mattress did not expand to full thickness at the sides. The middle expanded fully but about 18 inches on each side did not expand to more than 5 inches thick. Not usable. This did not improve over a week, so contacted Amazon who were very helpful and processed a refund.

A great mattress. I got the medium firm, and the firmness is perfect for sleeping on your back or side. No pressure points! I also love the environmental commitment of the company. The only thing to take into consideration is the height. At 11" tall, it may be too high to use with a box spring. I have mine on a frame with slats, and it's perfect.
