The saw itself was easy to set up, the stand was a bit of hassle as the instructions are not particularly clear, it was too easy to bolt things on 180° out. Once up and running it it fantastic, accurate, quiet easy to use. I wished I had bought one years ago.

Brilliant- especially for a novice like me. Great functionality as indicated on all the YouTube reviews. Once dialled in, it gives reliable and accurate cuts…only criticism is the mitre guide which works but is flimsy….upgrade that and you’ll be very happy.

Wow! What a great saw with some great features. Replace the blade for a better one and buy a better mitre fence to make this a real winner. Instructions could be better and the drawings could be improved by sensible linework. BUY ONE !!

Great bit of kit. Although a bit of an investment, there is a couple of chaper versions availble, it does the job well so far. Very portable because it folds up and does not take too much space.

Assembly of the folding frame was problematic & tedious. The instructions are only sketches, with bolts not given proper sizes (image above). The format should be M6 x 45mm for example, but you're given just a tiny sketch. The plastic bracket that covers a joint had the threads stripped, so I had to get creative (a really badly designed injection moulded piece) . I might recreate a better one with my 3D printer. It took forever to assemble. When folding the frame, one wheel hits a foot on the frame when rolling, so I'll have to modify that. Part of the frame hits the floor when folding, two plastic rings would have stopped the paint being scraped off, I'll make & fit those. Seems like a semi-finished project to me. Needs more R & D. The saw itself is fine for the money, & given the complexity of repackaging the thing, it won't be going back.

What a piece of kit 👍👍👍 Easy to put together just watch YouTube Plenty of info on this saw Pack was ok just the pipe was a bit crushed Not too bothered though ever thing else was sound I would recommend anyone starting up spending a little time and watch the many YouTube channels on setting up and calibrating it correctly not hard take your time and you should have many happy safe years together I just need to get a zero clearance plate and fine blade and then I make the new kitchen for the wife 😀😀😀😀😀😀

Purchased this saw with the stand, assembly is challenging as instructions are not great, easier to simply look at the photo on the box. Saw is everything I had hoped for, so many functions and clever design features, its a definite keeper. Improvements - two things if evolution ever read reviews like this: 1. Power cable is awful quality, stiff and plastically and it detracts from a really good product. 2. Once assembled, the frame does not easily get through doors to allow easy movement.

I just had to write a 5* review. This saw is so feature rich and I'm just incredibly impressed. From the adjustable X-Y-Z angle of the blade which allows for incredibly accurate cutting, to the fine details like providing tool holders for the allen key and wrenches, blade guard and cross cut fence, added to the convenience of being able to fold the saw away for storage, the parallel fence guide, the extendable rest at the rear and even a place to hold the push bar tool it's just all - what can I say, brilliant. I can see why evolution products are called evolution - it really seems they have evolved to keep what works well and ditch what isn't necessary. Couldn't be happier with the machine and would highly recommend.
