Q: Has anyone tried the "milk test" with this probiotic where you mix it with milk and see if it turns into yogurt to see if the cultures are alive?

Yes, we have and were pleased with the cultures it made. Good product!

Q: dose this probiotic make it to the intestines? or are all the strains destroyed in the stomach?

All I know is the darn thing works well. I was advice by a nurse to use it after taking 7 weeks of Antibiotics

It's a filled capsule, you can open up and empty contents, white powder inside with see-thru shell.

Q: If rapid released, how can it reach intestines?

These bacteria travel down through your GI tract - just like everything else you eat. Since these should be varieties that live naturally in your gut, they are not killed off by your stomach acid and therefore, continue down to your intestines.
