Decent back in the day.
At this point in time this game is ancient, not the best controls (not like WWE smackdown), decent graphics (for the age) but very outdated at this point - must be 10-15years old at least.

Great Wrestling Action
This game is fantasic fun. We got it though the post a couple of days back and my Son hasn't stop playing it since. It combines great graphics (seemingly ported directly from the XBox version) with great action. To add to the amusement it is very authentic. It has all the top WWE names along with their ring entrances and ring music, recreating the over-the-top feel of the WWE brilliantly. Well done THQ, keep them coming on the PC!!

A raw disappointment
Eagerly awaiting the release of Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth, I ordered this game as a stop-gap before the arrival of sequal to the PS2 classic. To say I was disappionted with this PC release would be an understatement. The new WWE RAW branding on the case suggests that this title will be up-to-date... don't be fooled by this, in actual fact this title is taken from a time point well before the arrival of the NWO (in excess of a year?) and the game has the old RAW branding including the old WWF logo and RAW graphics. The gameplay chunks (on a 1.4ghz with a GeForce 2), and controls are difficult to master. This title simply can't compare to the awesomeness of the Smackdown series on the PS2, especially the excellent Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth which features the WWE draft and all of the new branding.

This game should be power slammed into oblivion.
For all its flaws the game has decent graphics and some of the most impressive entrances I've seen with a full range of lights, fireworks and other displays which you can manipulate when creating your own wrestler. Unfortunately it all goes downhill from there, the gameplay just barely passes but the AI is horrible. If you are planning to play this all the time with a sibling or a friend then go for it, but its single player abilities are just not there. The career mode has no variety; it's simply a matter of beating each opponent one after another. No story, no other objectives, as soon as you've won a match, it goes straight to the next. The match types are very few and involve 4 players maximum. What I can't understand is why? I mean when you turn on interruptions you can have up to 4 people jump in the ring while 2 are fighting and it turns into an all out brawl. That's 6 people there, so why couldn't they make some official matches from 6 people such as royal rumbles or 6 man tag teams? Like I said, maybe, just maybe buy it if you're a wrestling fan and have someone who wants to play, it is one of the only wrestling games I've seen out for the PC after all. But if you're planning to play this alone as I have, it's just not worth it.

RAW
Its OK to play for the first few days but after that it gets pretty boring. There are not a lot of match types to play only single matches, tag matches and hardcore. The season mode is cr** and can be easily won if you know how to play. The roster is old so the newest characters are Tajiri, rhyno and raven. But the matches are cool. There are good entrances which are very realistic and the game has exellent graphics. So for ..[the price]... its worth buying it.

Finally, Raw Comes Home To The PC!
Finally a decent game arrives on the PC, The character selection is good, has all the favourites eg Stone Cold, The Rock, HHH, The Roster is a little bit outdated, and dosent include Characters as RVD, or Booker T, but they are easily created using the Create A Wrestler Mode. WWE Raw Has a variety of matches eg Royal rumble, King Of The Ring, Maybe there could have been more speciality matches eg Survivor Series, and Hell In A Cell, but overall i enjoy playing Raw. The control system gets a little gettin used to, but once youve got the basics its a pleasure to play. Maybe they should convert Smackdown 4 to PC, That would be phat. But overall this game is the best wrestling game for the PC yet, and if u havent got an Xbox with this game, definatly get it for the PC, its Only bout 20 quid but its good value for money. By the way just buying this game for the entrances and ability to edit and update the game through various other websites is well worth 20 Quid.
