The TI 36 calculator can do just about anything except graphing
I like the fact that it can handle an incredibly wide array of mathematical functions and conversions from simple math to calculus and equation solving. It does take a little bit of time to learn so you must put in the effort to get the most out of it. Extremely handy for classroom, homework, and formal exam usage.

Pretty reliable calculator
I needed a calculator for my college algebra class but didn't want to spend 100 on a Ti-84, so I got one of these. I've used one of these before in my high school algebra class and it's still as reliable now as it was back then.
