Since 1989 I have been replacing cooler pumps. Finally I have found the perfect pump. The difference was noticeable from the moment I plugged it in.My cooler uses 3 large pads as opposed to the more common 4, and most pumps are not up to the task. This pump seems optimized for this configuration. I was surprised that it came from Lowes, but no matter...this is my new pump now and forever.

When I was hooking up my swamp cooler for the summer I found the water pump no longer worked. So I ordered this pump to replace it with Prime it arrived two days later. The installation was easy and worked great all through the summer heat.

This pumped sucked (and not in the good sense of the word) lasted only about 4 months. I installed it on September, 2018 and only operated the pump for a month (Oct, 2018) turned it back on on April, 2019 and by June, 2019 it was already dead. Also, it is more expensive than my local hardware stores.

The picture has a pump with a square bottom. What I got has a round bottom. false advertisement.

Installed quickly. Has worked fine so far. Good price. Hope it makes it through the summer. Here in the southwest, it's a necessity.

Works excellent for our swamp cooler. Switched out in fifteen minutes. Very pleased and price can't be beat. Thank you.
