Amazon Basics Tea Tree Shampoo, 10.14 Fl Oz, Pack of 1

This is just like the Tea Tree brand. A little bit goes a long way. It is nt hrash and give just a little bit og tingle.

This is a great substitute for high priced tea tree oil shampoo. It rinses well and doesn’t leave any film on your hair

Some people enjoy this peppermint smell, and possibly the tea tree, I am not sure but I am not a big fan. What I do like is how well it works just even after the first use on my husband’s head,scalp and hair. He gets shinny silky clean hair, his scalp which was full of Cradle Cap was in terrible shape and behind his ears also. He has this dry skin condition since a child and it has never been under control he said. For as long as I have known him he has had this issue, for some reason in the winter months, quite rarely in the summer months. This is the 2nd time purchasing in the past several months because he feels it works so well and I must agree. If you match the ingredients to the other main, major name brand shampoos’s as thins , you will find that this has the same useful ingredients, but also doesn’t employ more added chemicals for whatever nonsense reason. This is just H2O, tea tree oil and peppermint. Works well for a good price, thank you Amazon Prime, and last long. It’s a nice size bottle.

This is good stuff! It every bit as good, or better, than the more expensive name brands.

85 year old male still with nice head of gray/white hair. Using Paul Mitchel (which I had purchased in green bottle from Sports Clips). Didn't say PM on bottle but did state manufactured by "Paul Mitchel Companies". Didn't like - shampoo too thin had to use large amount to get foamy. Also, downsized from large home to apartment with wife. Needed "smaller" sizes of everything, esp in bathrooms, kitchen, etc. Decided to try Amazon Basics - 10.14 oz size better. Very pleasantly surprised at how much better it was than PM. Thicker than watery PM, so use less. Wife tried it and said same thing. She had been using PM also. Both liked lighter tea tree smell from Basics, small bottle to hold in hand, easier smaller spout, feel of shampoo, soft feeling of hair after drying. Saw a few of reviews and evryone is entitled to say what he/she wishes. But the one I saw seemed so off the mark - not foamy, tea tree smell not enough, not thick enough, etc. Gave it a one. Dont know where that came from. Dont recall if verified user. Anyway, we are both in the 80s, pretty picky and set in a lot of our ways, but we can change still if we find something better as we did here. States on bottle compare to paul mitchell tea tree oil shampoo. I would add it compares favorably to PM and we like it better for reasons stated.

I purchased Amazon Basics Tea Tree Shampoo as a less expensive alternative to CHI Tea Tree Oil Shampoo. We are trying to keep lice away from hair and I have heard that tea tree oil is an effective deterrent. This shampoo smells nice but I found the texture to be like a thick goop. It lathers up easy enough - but it's hard to work the shampoo through the hair and completely rinse it out. I won't be buying this product again.

Smells like genuine tea tree. Great value compared to other products.

I don't write a lot of views but because I love the original product "Tea Tree Special Shampoo" so much I felt like it needed to be said. This is just not even close to being the same and not worth the money you save. What I like about the original is the smell(I love breathing it in, it's calming), the tingle, and the deep clean which I feel you get none of with the knockoff product. You've been warned!
