The person that I ordered these for, this was their second ever embroidery kit, and they completed it without any difficulty, and learned the stitching quite well. Nice quality, pretty designs, all around win-win.

I especially like the plastic hoops which are engineered differently than the bamboo hoops and would like to know if they are available separately. The designs are good and the instructions are clear. You can see what parts are supposed to be which colors. These will make a beautiful addition to my wall. I really like them.

I bought this so I could learn embroidery and I would 100% recommend this to any beginner. The water with sun and the water with mountains are super quick and easy I would recommend either as your very first one. Unlike other kits this came with extra needles and string so if you mess up you have extra. The little strings are easy to clean up when you need to cut your thread. They also make amazing gifts or just hanging up around your house for decor. The hoops are easy to attach and close unlike some other kits I’ve since purchased so I love the functionality there. Not sure why it’s asking about paint quality as nothing is painted but the stamped design makes it super easy to see the different sections.

Not for real beginners not enough instruction

I am a somewhat beginner to doing embroidery and I wanted a kit that had a good bit of needlework and something that would be pretty and displayable upon finishing. This kit was everything I was looking for and it does not disappoint! The pictures are printed clearly on the canvas so there won't be any guessing as to where I should be stitching. The fabric is better than what you get with stitch-practicing kits, much sturdier and thicker. You get a plastic hoop with each design (3 in total). Each project is individually packaged with a plastic hoop, the fabric, and the thread. At the top of each thread are some needles taped to the cardboard, so be careful not to lose them lol. I'm not real good at writing reviews, but, let me just say that this is a fantastic product! If you are new to embroidery or wanting to pick it back up, this set is A MUST! You can't beat the value of this kit for $15. I can't wait to see the finished result and I will definitely be purchasing from this seller again in the future! EDIT: After completing some of the embroidery, I would recommend purchasing a pack of smaller embroidery needles, especially if you think you want to continue doing embroidery after you have completed these projects. I bought a pack of embroidery needles from my local Micheals store for $3.99. I got the sizes 10-12 and they make a huge difference!! Using the included embroidery needle, I was getting wide holes in my material and it was making it hard to stitch (especially around the tips of the flower petals). With the smaller size needles, I don't have to worry about the holes and can continue on with the stitches! Just a little tip for anyone interested 😊

It’s a decent little beginner kit, but it is so hard to thread the needle after you separate the strands. They also tell you to double up strands on the water part but your string is so short, you end up having to replace your string every line & a half. The value is there, I just don’t think it was for me.

Got these for a friend and I to do together! It’s great bonding time! And great way to learn

The print is thin but doesn't brush off, the fabric quality is really nice (if a little weird feeling from the dye job) and the thread is fluffy and easy to work with. Definitely recommend waxing it before use. Needles included are taped to the thread cards, but they are there! I nearly missed them. Good quality on the needles.

Great! You have to be patient and be willing to learn and do your own research if this is your first time. I learned a lot from doing this and proud of my first attempt! Would recommend, wonderful pattern and plenty of thread
